An entertaining fight, that looked like it was going to go the distance from the start- Watson isn't a big puncher.
Good performance from Watson- I agree he edged it, but it was generally a close fight- a good contest between two boxers of similar ability.
Not exactly sure where Matthew Hatton goes from here. I'm sure there will be more competative fights, if he chooses to take them, although I can't really see the appeal of fighting no-hopers on Ricky's undercards.
There are some really attractive matches for Watson, potentially.
Matthew Hatton vs Craig Watson.

Mathew Hatton has a Very Padded Record. This is what happens when you Notch People like M Hatton Up a Level with Skills to beat only Journey Men.
May be Harsh, but its True.
Didn't Adnan Amar Want to Meet him?
Adnan would Beat M Hatton anyday IMO.

Hatton is basic and predictable, Watson boxed well and was never in any danger.
118-110 my card.

Hatton was really dissapointing, just seemed to walk foward onto punches all night he just didnt seem to know what to do.

Terry - I am shocked at what you have said here.Terry D wrote:
I think Matthew gets unfairly maligned. Maybe he does not across as well in interviews as he does in person but he works hard and is determined to make it in boxing.
I always thought you were an old school fan with old school values.
Matthew Hatton is the epitomy of a hyped fighter. He has never boxed anybody of note and has always lived off of his brother's name. I don't think anyone can deny that. Very few fighters of his ability get the exposure/opportunities he has.
I remember there was that ridiculous talk last year that he was going to land a mega fight with Gatti and he got some full pages in newspapers.
As for working hard, from what I know he just likes to get ratted at every opportunity.
Even if he is determined that, as we all know, is just not enough.
