Audley Harrison seems to have been sounding off to another boxing site that he's still aiming and capable of winning a world title..........

............he hasn't managed a British title........or an English one....and he's in his late 30s and it's 8 years since Sydney...

Why... by all means he should keep talking about winning a world title fight its what makes the sport go round as it were! My concern is that he fights meaningful opponents on the way to that thesis being proven or disproved, other than that I'm not so bothered!

While I think Audley will win(and by ko) his passiveness and Rogan's decent chin and great hard should mean it will last longer than 4 .
Although Rogan will force Audley to fight , so maybe Audley will have to try and put him away early .

James you are a shrewd man 500 at even money on Audley, even I would be snapping that up, I expect Audley to be around the 1/4 mark at best against Rogan, he is far more skilled I totally agree with you.

However, for three rounds Rogan will give him nightmares and if Audley goes shellike he could get sparked, dont think it will happen but at Evens I would lay Rogan.

Rogan will be anything from a 5/2 to 4/1 shot against big Aud.

Harrison in 5 for me, although I have grown to like Rogan following Prizefighter and have no problems with him pulling it off

Im giving one out of the few people on here who talk a hell of a lot of shit about Audley to take 500quid off me for this fight. Sure they can go to a bookie who will get them far better odds, and if they can prove they have made the bet (and Im talking a proper bet not some 10quid chump change that a 10yr old can ask his Dad to put on for him) then fine Ill give them credit for doing that.

I dont wanna be trawling through endless posts of people saying 'Audley is crap and Rogan will smash the twunt.' Because posting like that just makes you look like a 4yr old. And as far as Im concerned anyone who thinks Rogan will win this by KO or on a clear decision is lieing, and like I say Ill bet them 500quid provided the result is a KO or clear points win.

After seeing Rogie in the gym recently I reckon he has a chance, all be it a punchers chance. Rogie hasn't the Ama or Pro experience that Harrison has. Although Rogan won the Prizefighter he was pretty much the best of a bad bunch. Rogan is now getting thrown in with all sorts of fighters after his 25K rise to fame on Sky. I wish him all the best and think if he lands that big punch he could do it, at the same time he has such a big heart it will be a great fight either way.

PS/ these big money fights for Rogie will probably put an end to him appearing on our small hall shows in Belfast :( :(

Not going to bet 500 for this fight because its a no brainer. Audley will make Rogan eat jab for the first part of the fight, then Audley will take him out in the later rounds with a series of combos. Audley TKO 7. there, you don't need to watch the fight because I have just posted the report.

I think Audley does that in himslef so any move he makes will be criticised by this bord!

McBride v Tyson springs to mind.

If Rogan can weather an early storm, he might just club him one.

I've heard some understatements before, you know like

"Tyson was a reasonable puncher" or "George Best liked a pint".

But I have to say "the clock is ticking" as a summary of Audley's career tops the lot.

Jeezus. He's 55 years old been a pro for 31 years and his best win was against a 29stone Danny Williams on 25 minutes notice.
