hey guys, long time reader- first time contributor. love a lot of the comments and opinions on this forum, seem to know the game well. just watched video for the first time as i was away and thought kickett by 4. thought the commentary was unbiased and reckon it was a great fight. have an opinion on ring control and that is just because fighter comes forward not necessarily controlloing ring, read ali, mayweather and locally parker jnr v mckay in geelong. i like a boxer who comes forward but LOVE a boxer who can fight off back foot. hope this creates some feedback, cheers and thanks for great reading.

welcome aboard. Don't fully agree with the way you scored the fight, but it was very close. 5 or 6 rounds could have gone either way IMO.

What is the go in the Geelong these days? Mckay got soundly bet by Porky the other day, who else is about?

yeah mate, thanx for the welcome. we all agree to disagree thats what makes discussions. thought kane was a bit stiff with a cut, jury still out on punch or accidental headbutt, nothing on tape. only a couple of pros here in geelong still active, a bit sorry at moment, mckay and stenton out of same gym mate, not much else. a few ammos talking about later this year turning pro but we will see. area needs an injection of some sorts though, young trainers maybe ??

seems to be the same across the state. New blood at the training level would make a difference. Some backing for the gyms would also help. It's a pity Boxing isn't more politically correct and attract a little more gov' funding.
