Maybe if enough people write in and compliment them they will continue with it.ryan711 wrote:Insiders say Network Ten is 'testing the waters to see if there is enough interest to show more live boxing from both overseas and Australia.
It would be great if we can get more aussie and world boxing on tv,lets hope there is enough people watching.
ARPU statistics and RC Nilson(Or is it Nelson) With digital signal they (TEN,SEVEN,NINE,ABC) can (like a internet ping sent by optus/bigpond) see who is watching, But not for reg TV -It maybe a case of testing waters for sponcerd adds?.Robinson wrote:How will they know who is watching ?
Dont they go by the 'volunteers' who have those boxes on their
TV's ?
I wrote a message in the Kostya Tszyu forum about the fight, I hadnt been on there for at least a year and couldnt believe the response. Any way there is a Channel ten forum and someone from the KT site has already wrote a topic on the event thanking channel 10. I have put the topic belowMarlin wrote:I just checked an online TV guide and it has boxing on the regular Channel 10 station at 4am on Sunday Morning. I had to see it for myself! This is the best thing on TV since Underbelly!!! I can't wait!
I agree with ben k and will also wirte a letter to Channel Ten showing my support. We all really need to get behind this!!!

OzTAM do the TV ratings and as Robo says they use a panel of volunteers who attach a box to their TV. They have to log in when they watch and it records the time/channel they watch. OzTAM then extrapolate that to give a "national rating" figure for the programmes...convict wrote:ARPU statistics and RC Nilson(Or is it Nelson) With digital signal they (TEN,SEVEN,NINE,ABC) can (like a internet ping sent by optus/bigpond) see who is watching, But not for reg TV -It maybe a case of testing waters for sponcerd adds?.Robinson wrote:How will they know who is watching ?

do not look a gift horse in the mouthBrute wrote:If they do I hope it is better than that fight was. Klitschko should take up wrestling!
sounds good, maybe theyll rival main event and some ppv boxing that has more realistic prices. $40 or $50 is a bit muchMarlin wrote:Channel ten are actually thinking of launching a digital channel dedicated soley to sport. If all goes well they should show a fair whack of boxing on there...
