Dave Paris had a right mare.

That was some of the most biased commentary I've ever heard.

McDermott did absolutely fekk all for almost every minute of every round, and yet they kept going on about how 'he really seems to fancy this' meanwhile McDermott stands there like a statue, looking terrified of getting hit.

Danny looks shot to pieces, his balance is completely gone, but he won almost every round bar the diastrous 5th.

Those deductions were absolutely ridiculous, one point off for a non existent low blow, one point off for a completely innocuous shove, and another for Danny's gumshield coming out, after fatboy almost broke his elbow by levering his arm during a hold.

If it weren't for the fact that Paris would have been within his rights to have stopped Danny in the 5th, you'd have been forgiven for thinking someone had met him in a carpark with a suitcase.

Fortunately, justice was served and Danny got the decision, but no thanks to Paris, who must have been on LSD.

Maybe the fcuker was enjoying watching DW get hit - did you think of that?

Maybe he wanted to see DW sprawled on the floor!

Parris was excellent in the fifth, giving DW every chance when plenty of refs, including Hines on the undercard would have been in, so would O'Conner.

However, I cant argue with the low blow point as he had, rightly or wrongly, warned DW 2-3 times prior.

The other points were ridiculous. And made more so by his unwillingness to warn JMc for holding at every opportunity.

John fought his heart out, showed guts and some good shot selection but he was lazy through too much of the fight.

I didn't score it, I was there, and just watched the fight rather than report/score it and I had them roughly level, expected John Mc to nick it but it would have left a sour taste.

I thought the scoring was roughly right.

From memory I gave John 1st, 5th - 10-8, and maybe one more round.

John did precious little after the fifth to be fair.

DW's tactics were miserable. He sacrifices everything he has by crouching behind the shoulder. When he stood his height and jabbed fromt he shoulder in 2 and 3, McD went backwards.

Just DW cant be arsed now, just swings.
