Remember that fight well, Evatt didn't throw a jab all night but his clumping hooks had Jones in trouble....
I pissed myself whenever he and Pithie were described as being from "The Motor City....
........Coventry"

Yep I was a big Evatt fan too. The sort of fighter I wouldn't begrudge going down the IBO/WBU route because he knew his place and always gave his all and deserved to make a decent living because of it. Ditto Michael Ayers.
