In my first seven matches (3-2-2) I faced three future world champions, one of them an all-time great... I eventually got a shot at another all-time great for the world title when I was 37-13-4...

I was stopped 3 times in my first 20 fights
but am usually considered the 2nd best fighter in the history of my weight class.
