Due you think his best weight would have been Super Bantam?
I mean he was amazing at feather, but i just think he may have been untouchable at the lower weight.

Could have a point there mate, the knockouts didn't come as easy, and when he did stop people it was lighter men like Bungu and Sanchez who weren't as big as him. Or a humdinger, like the short left against Ingle, or a general breaking up of his opponent, a la Badillo or Johnson or Robinson.

Soto and McCullough were rock solid in fairness to Naz, but he was certainly more destructive as a super bantam.

His legs were strong and he looked a big feather, I think he outgrew SB early on. Looked superb at both weights though to be fair and was arguably the biggest puncher in the world at both SB and feather in the 1990s.

Imagine if Naz had gone for Zaragoza and the 122lb WBC title in 1995. He would have been dound to beat the old Zaragoza and would be on a collison course for a Morales mandatory in 1997. Hamed would have been nearer to his peak, Morales would have been further from his. Hamed may have KO'd or beat Morales in a great fight, I'd make him the favourate as Morales isn't as fast or as schooled as Barrera and never had the same boxing ability and would have brawled in 1997 making him open to Hameds bombs. I really think Barrera was Hamed's bogey man. The thing is Morales may never have been remembered as a great fighter as a result of losing to Hamed.

I think Naz could of made Superbantam for a bit longer than he did, but the easy fight to make for Warren was against Robinson, so Naz went to that weight.
