I just found it amusing that arguebally the biggest "Hatton" fan has the nerve to accuse another fighter for padding his record.

Its going to be Gainer, but I think Murray or Thaxton is the logical step for Kahn. Romanov is too big a jump at this stage of his career. He needs a decent British level fighter, then look to move up to European level in 3-4 fights.
I don't blame Warren for not rushing him (especially with that chin), but at some point he has to take a risky fight. He has had nearly 20 pro bouts now!

I agree, but Khan's still talking of winning a world title THIS year!

How about Manny Pac? Now the DLH fight's fallen through, he's looking for a fight. And he holds a title at 135!

Has anyone seen Gainer's last few fights? If he can just hang with Khan... the 'smoke' I remember seeing would never have been troubled by Khan and was way too accomplished to lose to him.
I wish he had something left, but it's hard to believe he does.
What odds would you guys expect to see in England if Khan were to fight Pacquaio next year, lets just say in the event that Khan blows out/actually looks convincing against his next few opponents (lol)? And bearing in mind that the hype would be built up and it would actually be a talking point for the average sports fan?

This is turning into a bit of a farce - Did anyone else read that Dave Stewart had accepted the fight, only for the Khan camp to change their mind.

I did hear mention of Stewart. But then they approached Meager - didn't they? - and Meager stopped Stewart in a war. Meager obviously got dismantled and outclassed by Murray. I can't see Khan and Murray fighting each other on short notice.
Still, only a few weeks away from the fight, you'd think Stewart would be acceptable.

If its this guy:

He's got a fight already scheduled for next month. Carlos Hernandez makes a comeback tonight - he'd be a decent test for Khan in a couple of fights time. But man I'd just be happy if Khan fought an opponent who follows 2 simple criteria:
1. Is an actual, natural lightweight.
2. Is at least top domestic class.

Just found this. Says he's fighting Breidis Prescott on sky box office, who I've never heard of until today. Big undefeated Columbian lightweight, but looks like another hand picked opponent to me with a record they can build up for box office to try and fool people:

You can when out of his first 8 opponents, only 1 had won a fight...ever, and 5 of the opponents in total have more wins than losses. There's no way in hell I'm paying £15 for that shit, I'd pay £5, maybe £10.

Khan's fighting nowhere near world class and Arthur-Cook, although for the WBO title, is no more than a domestic dust-up. This is Friday Fight Night standard, not PPV. We're already paying about 40 quid a month for Sky - which should be more than enough, especially when Setanta are delivering the best world-class fights for 12 quid a month. Mayweather was a multi-weight world champ and top pound-for-pounder before he appeared on PPV in the US. Amir hasn't even fought the best of British yet. He should be fighting Manny Pac in Vegas to be PPV worthy.

just a better look at his record
the guys he KO'd seem to always get KO'd when they lose
so it will look good on a poster/advert 19wins 17ko's but in reality it dont mean shit
althou the guy can obviously bang so there is always a chance if khans whiskers are indeed made of glass
