Mormeck was doing pretty good, and was leading on points. There was really one shot that caught him in the eye and was followed by a vicious uppercut, the last shot was not even really necessary.

BUT !...I don't give credit to all the fuss and overexcitement over Haye's future at HW, and like many have said, even among British fans, we still don't know how he can fare against the top HWs, so its a bit premature to state he would easily beat the likes of McCline or Ibragimov...I will give Haye credit at HW when he will have beaten a few serious HWs, but until then he remains a cruiserweight champ moving to HW, just as Toney or Holyfield were at the time.

Mormeck and probably even Maccarinelli were both better than McCline, not just pound-for-pound but even allowing for the weight. McCline, as I said in my article, is just a big name with a spectacular body. If he wasn't a heavyweight, nobody would talk about him.
