Nowadays, any weight division that provides genuine elite matchups.

I was as enthused about Vasquez-Marquez as much as Cotto-Margarito. Both turned out to be great fights.

This weight hopping palaver leaves me a bit cold, although always interested and curious.

1940s and prior: heavy.
1950s: middle.
1960s: heavy.
1970s: heavy.
1980s: middle.
1990s: super-middle.
2000s: welter.

Lightweight

Historically, I would sya that the Heavyweight division is the most exciting... (You don't have to look to far to see some great fights in this division... And I'm not just tlaking about the typical fights of the legends.... Louis, Marciano or Ali... Check out George Foreman VS Ron Lyle).

However, in modern day terms, heavyweight sleave a hell of a lot to be desired.... They're slow, clumsy and they think that they csn overpower their opponents everytime... When really, they weigh about the same, so no-one goes anyhwere fast.....

In mdoern day terms, I would say that the most exicting division would depend if you have a favourtie boxer ina certain divison... For me, (I'm a fan of Carl Froch) I would say that the Super-Middleweight division is exiciting, with the likes of Kessler, Mundine, Andrade in it.

PLUS, there's quite a lot of British interest in the Lightweight Division (due to Amir Kahn) and Light Wleterweight (Hattons next "big" fight)...
