5-7 small meals a day in 3hourly intervals = optimising insulin levels and stopping your body shutting into starvation mode
What:
Meals consisting of: 30-50grams from low fat protein sources, 20-30g very low glycemic carbs (slow burning so insulin isn't spike), as much leafy green veg you can eat (take more calories to burn than they contain)
Supplements: Whey Isolate (between meals), ECA+Y Stack (after meals), Nitric Oxide (between meals), Fish oil (with), MultiVitamins+High Dose C/E/B, CEE (between meals), Glutamine/HMB/BCAA (between meals) + other cutting agents if you get deperate to shift the last few pounds
Extras: 5-6litres of water, No Sugar (possibly post workout), No Snacks
Its not rocket science
Its a bit odd that our 2 best fighters (Calzaghe and Hatton) sparring is, by all accounts, a bit of a joke.DavidPayne wrote:A loss. Though I don't like the fascination with weights.
I'd like to see some higher quality sparring.
Yeah Oscar hammers Hatton for sure, but ever the business man, id take the 15 million quid (maybe?) payday, take my beating and fornicate off into the sunset, a very very rich manbanjo wrote:Not necessarily, yeah he'd have received the biggest purse of his career but he'd likely have been on the receiving end of a career-ending beatdown.Colesy wrote:Also passing up the ODLH fight was a mistake.

It doesn't sound like Ricky has started training yet: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sh ... 629780.ece and he looks HEAVY.KO1 wrote:Does anyone know if Hatton has used full contact sparring with other fighters in preparation for his bouts at all, besides the body bag exercise.
I've never seen any pictures of him sparring.
I've read that Malignaagi has been in intense training for several weeks already and Hatton has not started yet?
I wish as a Hatton fan he would have prepared 12 weeks and stayed nearer his fighting weight all year round. It is just too much strain on the body to lose 30 or 40 lbs and still keep your punch and speed. Malignaggi is much tougher than people think. I hope Ricky is truly ready for this as Malignaggi is almost impossible to hit cleanly and the word is he is getting into fantastic shape.
Thanks,
Rory
I'm sure they know what they are doing, stop panickingKO1 wrote:My God, he does look like about 175lbs there
why isn't he training yet, Malignaggi is training hard now. I just don't understand it?????
He talks quick enough as it is without that!Khaosai-Galaxy wrote:ECA+Y Stack ?

i cant imagine he takes Ephedrine, but does anyone know for sure?
Having used Ephedrine, i wouldnt have thought it was a good idea

So the longer the training camp, the better is it?KO1 wrote:Khaosai-Galaxy Post subject: Re: KAYES LEAVES HATTON AS WELL?Posted: Mon Sep 01, 2008 8:00 am

"I'm sure they know what they are doing, stop panicking
Malignaggi training schedule has nothing what so ever to do with Hatton, a veteran of some 40 odd fights "
Yes Sir, I shall stop panicking immeidately Sir, thank you. Malignaggi's training has nothing to do with Hatton as the actual man he is going to have to fight that night while being so overweight and being a veteran of 40 fights who is now older? Sage advice Sir, you are so right, nothing to do with him whatsoever. One chap traiining for 12 weeks starting out in shape the other for 8 weeks having to drop 30-40lbs. I am quite sure they know what they are doing also and he will be in his best shape ever.
I feel so silly even thinking it. Endless apologies mate.
When he was younger he was in the gym more often, because he fought more often. So the longer the training camp, the better is it?
why not a 25 week training camp then?
Hatton hasn't done badly from his training routine, has he?

He was also in training 6 months for the Costa Zoo fight.
He was - you dipshit
ha ha ha
sure he was

Missing out on the biggest name in boxing is a mistake. Hatton will regret this, both have only a couple of fights left. This would be a huge challenge and Hatton will have to be mentally focussed. I agree that he would be a huge underdog but financially and legacy wise this is the biggest fight out ther for him by far. Why not take it, because he would lose? If that was his mindset why take the Mayweather fight.banjo wrote:Not necessarily, yeah he'd have received the biggest purse of his career but he'd likely have been on the receiving end of a career-ending beatdown.Colesy wrote:Also passing up the ODLH fight was a mistake.
I think Hatton knows he would lose to De La Hoya, whereas Hatton thought he could beat Mayweather Jr. If Hatton beats Malignaggi and then it would make sense for him to face the winner of Pacquiao vs De La Hoya.Colesy wrote:Missing out on the biggest name in boxing is a mistake. Haha, I stopped reading there too. KO1, you can't speak for other people. He's not a favourite of mine, though have enjoyed some of his fights.Chambers2 wrote:That was where I stopped reading, fan favorites don't duck their arch-rival countrymen for 8 yearsKO1 wrote:Ricky is an amazing fighter and a fan favorite of anyone who loves boxing.
