Simpkin just turned over Ferguson on Split Decision.

Ferguson won the first round but decided to coast a bit, Simpkin upped the pace and ground out a win.

In the first fight Sexton fought smart and easily outclassed Pele

Luke Simpkin beat Ferguson by S/D, he just got in close to Ferguson and worked a bit harder, both put alot into the fight, but the right guy won.

first semi will be Sexton v Simpkins, on the fitness front Sexton should be fresher as he never really used up that much energy against a very poor Reid.

its quite funny seeing all the refs and annoucer in open neck shirts, its like when your managers at work try to look cool to be one of the guys.

Burton v Ingleby.

1st round, mostly Burton looking good, throwing alot of shots to head and body, not wild good picked shots

2nd round, Burton wins it, still throwing the better quality and quantity, Ingleby has had a couple of moments in the round , good right hand, also Ingleby showing great bravery.

3rd round, great final round effort by both lads, Burton scored with a big right after 30seconds, and it looked as if he could close the show, but Ingleby came back with some meaty uppercuts, and showed that he wasn't going to lay down easily. Burton landed some more rights , but Ingleby was always in there.

Burton wins on a clean sweep of the scorecards, whoever gets Burton next round should but Dave Ingleby a drink as he's taken quite a bit out of Burton.

Just got home from work. Only missed 2 fights. Not too bad. Can't wait for the rest!

Not yet, no knockdowns so far. Pele went down but it was a slip.

Swaby v Morgan.

1st Bit scrappy, Morgan landed a couple of clubbing lefts, Swaby trying to use the ring a bit more and be busier , but landing much. Hard to say who won that round, slightly leaning towards Morgan. But his fitness might not be that good , swaby looking fitter.

2nd round, Swaby makes Morgan miss alot, whilst landing his own punches.
all to play for in the 3rd

I like Swaby. He's got good character.

3rd round , was all Swaby, he almost stops Morgan with a combination in the middle of the round, and again right at the end of the fight, if it was another 15 seconds earlier Swaby would of KO'd Morgan.
Has to be said that Morgans conditioning was awful, he was winging big punches early in the 1st round, but after that was shot.

Going to be close. I would only count out Simpkin at this stage.

Swaby Vs Burton is going to be a cracker.
