why does everyone hate these walsh brothers?
  • Racism from their fans towards opposing fighters.
  • One of the Walsh brothers was very disrespectful when fighting (punching the other guy when he put his glove out to touch gloves after an incident). Michael Walsh, I think it was.
There are probably more reasons than that, but those are two I've encountered.

I wish Sky would show most of the bills live like Setanta do. Its not the same watching it after the live main event when they've already showed half the highlights and sometimes bloody knockdowns!

How many channels do sky sports have - 4? Not enough broadcast time to show the full bill live is it? Pisses me off

The first one is enough to be honest, but by that token Hatton should also not be liked, as his fans are equally as racist.

Its an awful looking bill. Meaningless rematches, nothing of any note or real competative value. OK, the Crolla fight might be OK, but Walsh Deakin again? What exactly is the point of that?

The Main Event simply seems to be a question of finding an opponent who will give a good show, and lose.

Is this what the SKY subscription pays for these days?

I'd rather stick with Setanta and ITV I think.

From the results coming in, it appears to be a predicatable series of points wins so far.

Mark Birdis has really improved. Now he has learned to shout random words for added effect.

Ricky Burns looked poor. Nicky Cook would have an easy defence against him.

Chisora also looked poor for the first 2 rounds, but I believe him when he says that he had a cold. He has good power, but I'm not sure about his boxing ability. His defence was terrible.

Craig Stephen, on Setanta's Hayemaker show, was miles better and it was his first time on TV.

Sat through the main event, rather predicatable really. In fact, very predicatable.

Chisora V Swaby had an edge, mainly due to the finish of course, but it was entertaining enough to watch.

He is awful, easily the worst MC I've seen. He just shouts and seems all panicky, honestly it isn't that difficult is it? He's reading the important stuff from a card just like all the other MC's do yet he still manages to drop the odd clanger.

Awful, just awful and that's the end of it.

He's better than Michael Pass!

He's not ok, he's even stopped being a novelty. With his jacket gaping open and the scared look on his face, he looks like an uncle just about to read out the thank you's at a birthday party. I cringe when I listen to him murder an intro.

Next to him Michael Pass sounds like Michael Buffer
