Seriously, though, credit to Khan for not throwing in the towel, but I honestly can't see this fight involving anything other than a VERY carefully selected opponent.

Moreover, I'd love to see Prescott in action again- I'm sure his "the man who knock out Khan" tag would make him a ticket seller over here.

Sensible Matchmaking from Fwank.

Just think of all the "regular", non infomed viewers who bought Khan-Prescott. Let to believe that Khan is one of the best in world boxing, a man destined for the top. Khan gets stopped in the first minute. They'll go to work the next Monday and what will they have said "What a load of rubbish", "What a ripoff". I think Khan has a lot of convincing to do. Another PPV is ridiculous. Pure greed & I hope it backfires.

Listen fella, nobody on earth thought Khan was one of the best in world boxing, they paid to see him because he is an exciting prospect, and a high profile fighter.
Its hilarious how the old womens network on here underestimate and misunderstand the general public.

Same with Hatton and the WBU.

People know full well Khan is just a prospect, just as they knew the WBU was a load of baloney, but they just want to watch a boxer they like

Yes, the general public can be tricked by mediocre matchmaking so long as a brand name is involved. Look back to the Kirstjansen fight on ITV. Kristjensen was rated highly by the WBO, and the commentators didn't bother to explain that he wasn't even one of the 20th or so best in the world. So ppl who don't follow boxing get tricked into thinking that they are seeing world class action. The Prescott fight was marketed as the first serious step on Khan's quest to a world title.

It's all just been about building a record. When it came to the crunch, when Khan fought someone his own size/weight/and unbeaten, he couldn't hack it.

Anyway, it backfired. It blew up in Khan's face. I hope it does again if they have another. Tell me how the public are just going to shell out another £15 after the Prescott fight. They would have to be gullible buggers. Which you would not doubt be banking on.

The next fight will obviously be a double header with DLH - Pac man, which if Arthur - Cook is on the undercard, is not exactly horrible value for money

That's what ppl have been saying. As a big package, it does look ok. Cook's fighting Arthur again?

But when can Khan headline another PPV? This will surely be a while.

The only time Khan would be headlining PPV is if he swapped jobs with Lewis Hamilton, although like Massa he tends GO on a red light.

Yes but DLH v Pacquiao won't be on PPV will it? So it won't be a double header will it?

DLH v Hopkins, Vargas, Mayweather, Sturm, Mosley 1&2 weren't on PPV so why would DLH v Pacquiao be on it.

DLH vs Sturm was on PPV, and I am pretty sure DLH vs Hopkins was also.

I don't think it is, it's on HBO PPV but I doubt it'll be on SBO. Mayweather, Vargas, Hopkins and Mayorga fights were on HBO PPV but not SBO.

i watched both and there is no way i bought them, i lived with mummy then and didnt know the code

From what I've heard, yes. However, I'm not convinced because of the Froch bill although they may accomodate both by having it at a later time on Sky.

Mr Bunce also said something similar in his show last week.
