Norris was a BEAST!!!

There were very few boxers out there who could survive his power in the early 90s... :surprised:

And Sugar Ray Leonard was one of his victims...

I think I really took the life out of the originator of this thread with all the points I brought up. No doubt about it that Terry exceeded expectations. At one time thought to be another in a trail of Julian Jackson victims, then suddenly becoming champ faster than you can say "Mugabi's legs have turned to spaghetti"

The utter humilation and exposing of the fraud that was Sugar Ray Leonard. The thrilling destruction of Curry and Taylor, the convincing defeat of Simon Brown, a performance that shut the mouths of ALL his critics, as well as the record number of defenses at 154.

Terry, you have done the sport proud with your inspiring performances and gutty comebacks, proving all of your dopey critics wrong time and again.

Cant argue with success. Terry would win in the most lopsided fashion people who were favored over him and he alughtered him. Every time I would watch Terry I would long for some kind of competitive match and even defeat the Terrible one but there were none who carry it out-prey to powers that know no equal.

Sadly, Terry despite all his outstanding success, went downhill but not to worry, along came another who would take his place. Namely Roy Jones Jr. 8) :) :P DD :surprised: D :surprised: :) DD 8)

Never mind the sarcasm.. Norris got careless and took him lightly-the one nobody likes to talk about? You saw the REAL Norris in the remtach and Simon couldnt touch him.

boxing was reaching new heights the night Norris got DQ'd against Santana. the second time, that was also pure comedy gold

thing is, fool- if a certain fighter from maryland had ever lost to anyone as poor as Mullings, you would be crowing from the rooftops like a particularly jarring, repetitive jackdaw about how that proves he was never any good anyway, whether he was past his peak at the time or not.

Terry Norris was good fighter, fast hands, good boxer, good power but he could be hurt when hit on the chin by a good puncher. Julian Jackson, Simon Brown examples.
