Pavlik was schooled by Hopkins, but by far Calzaghe battered Lacy on top of the schooling a lot more than Kelly got. The beating alone Lacy got was enough to ruin him, Kelly can go back down 10 pounds and defend his titles, he's got a bruised ego and a Boxing lesson, but by no means was it the style of battering Jeff Lacy took that night in Manchester.

Its too early to know. I actually think Pavlik got more embarraesd than battered. Pavlik was
outclassed. Lacy got a beatdown.

Agreed.
Lacy beat up bums, and stung Reid about 8/9 years after JC beat him. Pavlik has beaten very good competition and come unstuck against one of the cleverest ring technicians in recent history.
He'll be back, and will heave learnt a lot.
