You could make the case he nearly KO'd Ali in the eleventh. I wouldn't personally, & it would certainly help if Ali'd fallen at that point, but I think the case can be made.

First time I've ever heard it described as 'a near KO', Kym. I suppose he was nearly KO'd by Henry Cooper as well? Any other near KO's I should be aware of?

Paddy Dolan will be smiling down on you now. Although he never ever answered any of the questions you put to him, I always felt he had a soft spot for you.

Collins,

I doubt he had a soft spot for me...if he did, it mostly had more to do
with me being Irish.
