Kessler vs Haussler online...
Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
Super Middleweight will be buzzing if Froch is successful, you'd have 4 pretty evenly matched undefeated champions then.
Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
Kessler's form just makes JC look better and better
Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
Yes, given that Joe beat Kessler, the better Kessler does, the more we recognise Joe;s achivement.
However, if Kessler goes on to big things, before he's even reached 30, then surely this will also show what a waste a big bulk of Joe's career has been? I think Kessler will do well, and show that a loss is not the end of the world. He lost away from home, with an injury, to a Joe who happened to be shit hot on the night.

Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
True Coco - as I stated Kessler could be the making or breaking of Joe's legacy - as Hopkins and Toney were for Roy.
However, lets not pretend that Haussiler was anything special, he would be among the mid to lower tier of Joe's defences in terms of quality.

I'd like to see Kessler v Hopkins
Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
Kessler definitely took him out in businesslike fashion. Good to see such ruthlessly efficient boxing. It was just one of those stupid mandatories. I think to put Haussler in perspective, he got a bit lucky with Glenn Catley, one of our decent super middles a while back (when Catley was no longer considered world class). That must have been in the early '00s.stujones wrote:True Coco - as I stated Kessler could be the making or breaking of Joe's legacy - as Hopkins and Toney were for Roy.

Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
Kessler will probably fancy a crack at Bute after his supposed gift over Andrade at the weekend.
Autobarn, Balszay could become a tidy operator. He is well schooled and has a solid defence but I'm not convinved as yet that he has the star quality to rise above the WBO bum line that Kohl provides his fighters with.

Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
Kessler would school Bute and will probably beat Froch if it goes to the scorecards, although Carl's power is a real leveller and he could very well KO the Dane if he lands clean.
Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
I'd like to see Froch's power tested at true world level before making that claim. He's hit hard so far, but it's a big difference between stopping Magee, Dodson etc to knocking out Kessler. I can't remember the Dane ever being hurt, other than the bodyshot that Calzaghe hit him with.
I like Froch, but right now I don't think I could pick him over Kessler.

Re: Kessler vs Haussler online...
It's all whats/ifs with regards Kessler vs Froch.
Is Froch good enough? or not...
Only thing to go on so far is the opinions of guys who have either fought or sparred them both.
Eric Teymour, Sergey Tatevosyan, Brian Magee and Darren Barker back Froch should they meet.
I think it was Barker who said Kessler was pretty easy to outbox, but he also picked up on Kessler having a really bad hand too - so that would have explained it.
Can Kessler punish Froch's low guard with that laser-like jab - or can Froch lure Kessler in and counter him from angles Kessler hasn't encountered before.
I think it's a bit of both until someone goes over !
Either way it's a fight that hopefully happens.
