No it's pathetic, it could be a massive fight from the previous night, not shown on Sky, and they still wont mention it. It's not as if they are giving out free advertising, if the fight's already over - it's just news...but that's their closed eyed policy. Bunch of dicks.

I think Hopkins/Trinidad was an example - no-one in the UK showed it, but Sky still completely ignored it on their ringside show.

I understand why Sky don't publicise it but it still completely undermines the credibility of their sport 'coverage' to the point of farce.

So Carl Froch wins a WBC Title - a British world champion, a rarity and not even a mention of it on Sky.

I like Setanta, because they talk openly about Sky and ITV1 - Sky are just a bunch of wankers.

I saw it when I went to Sky Text, but nowhere on the sports news.

Sorry Sky cannot win in such a case... I've heard it when Sky have announced an ITV/Setanta result at the end of their programming (when they are clashing) and some guys moan "I was taping that, and I didn't want to know the result".

In that case they should never reveal a result because people may wanna watch Match of the Day

Finch - I agree a complete BS arguement..... all I am saying is I have read posts on here saying "fornicating hell sky - I was looking forward to the fight on Sky+ but you've ruined it"

So when people have the result they moan, when they don't they moan. Personally, I think Sky should say the result.

I'm quite sure that the reason sky dont mention it is not because people want to see the highlights.

If people missed it and didnt know the result thats their problem.

Sky are just wankers.
