Thankfully I have an account with William Hill and they didn't have odds on this and couldn't be arsed opening another account!

I never bothered thank god, if I had seen some of that 11/8 on Tackie I would have got involved but that had long gone by Friday morning.

Haven't seen much discussion about this one? Was Tackie just in journeyman mode with no ambition, or did he look totally shot?

Guys who have lost four on the trot, rarely change the mode.

I dont doubt Tackie's heart but I think its clear the role he now adopts.

Not that I'd have put a penny on it, but I wasn't at all surprised about the outcome of this one.

Sad about the ref, anyone here ever thought about topping themself?

Anyway back on topic, Tackie looked slower, less spring, but he was trying to win, and you could make a good case he got the draw or even a win at a very big stretch. Basically a fight of 2 halves, Matton won 4 of the first 5, Tackie turned up the pace as Matton slowed to get inside and work the body and won 4 of the last 5.

After reading Horse's last p4p British top 30 I did consider it, but Scott Harrison talked me out of it :)
