Kerry Kayes has said himself on Hatton's website that he was not paid by Ricky. Kayes is a millionaire himself through his own supplement range.

Kerry is a good man - I always state one of the very best conversations I have ever had is with Kerry Kayes - he is a man of integrity and honesty in my view and I have always liked Kerry - I sat with Kerry and his lovely mrs for about 90 minutes after the Femi fight in Jersey 4 weeks ago - some of what we discussed did not surprise where as other bits did - the biggest thing is why Team Hatton did not break the bank to keep Kerry's services - some will say that after the Malanaggi fight there is no need - but for me and being part of albeit a very minor one of Team Hatton in 2006 and 2007 I saw first hand what Kerry bought to the camp - I don't give a sh*t what anyone says - I am willing to bet Kerry Kayes is hugely missed - he didn't just bring the technical aspects - he brought along the person Kerry Kayes - and when others were getting frustrated due to being part of a massive show/fight there was Kerry having a giggle when the mood needed to be lightened!!!

Naturally due to legal reasons I am not stupid enough to divulge too much and no to the doubters I am not playing games - in my view there are a number of people in boxing who are complete bullies - for whatever reason in legal terms the one with the most money wins in libel cases - like many of us on here I do not have a pot to p*ss in - if I did its one of those ambitions I have and that is to teach certain people a lesson who think they are beyond anything because they are part of some sort of so called massive organisation.

Agree with spuds post , except one thing , the one with most money wins libel cases. Fraid your wrong there spud , the one with most money, can usually bluff more, but things still have too be proved, and , besides damages , expenses can be awarded ,if they are just bullying it will be found out in court and they may have your expenses has well,, quite often you will find thats the reason so many pull out and settle on the court doorsteps.

Personally i agree with you most are bullies, and the threat off legal action will do the job,which is why they threaten , but proving libel is not always easy, i'm no lawyer but i do know one thing , if you don't have the prove and you are proved wrong you could end up with a BIG bill .

And the less you have the more inclined i would be too say kiss my arse.

Perhaps there is a lawyer on board who can tell us more about people who have a tendency to threaten others with libel , just too shut them up , but usually make slanderous remarks themselves ,

I mean whats the difference between say me , posting on an internet site remarks and say a promoter, posting similar remarkes in a sun paper.

My favourite libel case was when Bill Roach who plays Ken Barlow sued one of the National Nwespapers for calling him boring and LOST.

The judge sided with them!!

He must be one boring fella!!

Sure if they can get away with that we can get away with calling the likes of FW a miserable, conniving weazel.

The difference I've been told by a mate that's a Lawyer is that one is certified as produced by the author (paper) and one that doesn't (forum). Unless of course they have a video camera on you to see you typing it into the forum. If they do, I swear the lingerie was just for a bet.

I thought there was a case recently of someone being taken to caught over remakrs on a forum.

There are two lawyers that post on this board, hopefully at least one can give us his thoughts.

Be helpful really if a lawyer could comment , I know that myself personaly i think its a bluff most times , to shut people up from ANY negative remarks , in other words bullying , i've got more money than you so shut up ,
