Not sure if Francis would go for it even though he's won fights at cruiser (inc the English title). For one, it wouldn't be for the title outright (so it's doubtful Deao would take a massive risk like fighting Mac for half a title, if that). Also, if Francis gave away his Commonwealth belt and then pulled out of the Erdei fight - apparently both down to personal issues - I'm not certain he's up for anything really big.

Not going into details but I don't believe in posting crap (although some of my tips might be considered so) just wanted to make anyone aware who might be booking hotels or buying tickets on the principle of seeing Banks/Maccarinelli, it wont be happening on Dec 6th.

No Idea if or who Enzo will fight, if I do get to hear I will post it for people here but the fight is off

They will plug Banks until they have a replacement confirmed and if it's a crap replacement they'll probably continue to plug Banks as the opponent for as long as they can get away without revealing the new opponent.

By the way to be fair to them there isn't much to pick from in terms of a competitive match from the WBO top 15. Can't see Hide willing to take it on such short notice unless they're willing to pay him well over the odds.

Herbie is way too dangerous to get the call. Fragomeni is a decent shout because he's not a big puncher and he's a credible opponent, but he might want too much money and might not want to risk it on short notice. Looking at the Boxrec top 20 the most likely candidates look to me like Jose Luis Herrera and Rob Norton.

This is shit as usaul. Boxing suffers badly with pullouts.

Norton would be a horrible match for Enzo stylewise, all cagey and southpaw like, and it would likely be a stinker of a fight. however he can't punch that hard and Enzo could outwork him if he is made brave enough from the lack of power.

this is annoying! i was 50/50 on getting ppv as i dont mind paying when a decent card is put together. Have no interest in Khan so with this latest pullout i think it might be froch with de la hoya on a stream.

He will fight someone for the title then fight Banks in New Year.

No, but usually pullouts are reported at some stage by someone, and a reason given. As such, I was wondering if there was a link to a news story, personal website, blog or whatever from anyone invloved that confirms this.

I know what you are saying but 1) FW needs to put big bills on at the mo, he's not winning at the mo 2) FW isnt afraid of throwing a fighter to the lions if he thinks he's dodgy, and I think FW
thinks Enzo is a squiggle 3) Herbie would be worth buying as if he won the options would be worth £££
