Awful mismatch but that was obvious to anyone beforehand.

Really bad showing from Smith and Watt, bulling up the opponent... it was a mismatch and the guy was hurt by the body shot just prior to the KO (I actually thought he could have been counted for that) - not "just coming back into it" as Smith try to claim.

I like how Cleverly came across in his interview after the fight and the punch that KO'ed Otieno was a sweet one, but God, is it me or are Friday Fight Night's becoming a joke? It was an awful mismatch and the Sky Sports team try to justify it by telling us that these African's are a mixed bag - I don't see it, the vast majority of unknown African's I have seen in British rings have been very limited and short on talent. Yes, they may have big hearts and good stamina but that cuts no ice when you come up against someone as skilled as Cleverly. I am really starting to get pissed off with my subscription to Sky Sports as well because we get shite on Friday Nights and when a decent fight comes on like last week, we have to pay £15 bloody notes. It's scandalously pathetic.

Teddy Atlas isn't my favourite commentator on american TV, but at least the guy calls a mismatch when he see's one, the guys on SKY try selling everyone short , as if all viewers are idiots

Jim is usually good, and to be fair - it was mainly Smith tonight... but it was a poor show from Jim today also.

I have a mate who is a professional gambler, he was about to put a massive bet on a distance fight in this one - based on the fact the Kenyan was going to be tough and Cleverly wasn't a puncher.

However, even just looking at the records, it was clear that he was absolutely tiny for a light heavyweight, having fought at bloody Welterweight two years ago, and fighting in a tiny talent pool within Kenya, which is hardly known for their light heavyweights in any case.

It was just so bloody obvious that Cleverly would have terrific advantages in skill, speed, size and power - no matter what his stoppage record. I saved my mate 1500 quid and I think made him some by talking him into backing Cleverly by KO.

This is an awful bill, truly awful the main event is a non-event.

Got to say though, I like what I've seen of Cleverly thus far, Dean Francis is a big step up in class - but the fact he wants the fight is indicative of a fighter who is going places, still a lot to learn, but he has developed technique first and power second, which I think is a good thing.

This may sound stupid, but watching that shite tonight made me die a little inside.

Smith is consistently awful, you would have thought he would have learned a bit about the game by now, but I suppose he doesn't need to with his dad pulling the strings.
Watt and Piper were also poor tonight but I suppose they wouldn't have jobs to come back to if they called it as it was

If it was any other matchmaker, then I would have thought the same. Otieno actually looked a bit better than I expected.
