Kali Meehan does not hold a title at the moment.

Why shouldn't he fight for the Aussie? :box:

Clif has put his hand up for this fight, boxrec now states Oscar Talemaira will rematch Alex.

Thats disappointing, i was going to this card until now.
I was expecting Leapai to fight someone decent.

it was mention leapai was suppose 2 fight mirovic, but it was too much of risk 4 mirovic cause if he loses he is forced 2 retire by the ANBF thats not the way team Mirovic wants 2 head & cronje not reddy 4 a rematch, when you look at it their is no 1 else.

What's wrong with Welliver??

What about Hoppa, there's a few others as well in New Zealand like Welliver, Wilson and Tai.
Kim Heta springs to mind as well, i don't think he would pose a challenge but if it's a stay busy fight, at least these guys are not excessively overweight and reasonably fit.

For all the talk by Leapai supporters on Aussie boxing forums this is a dud match up. Haomono is constantly ( and correctly) knocked by these people and then Alex goes and does the same thing. This fight will not be of any benefit to Leapai.

forget about this fight & any other heavyweight fights 4 the early year & concentrate on the Haumono vs Wilson, good on Haumono for stepping it up but the question is Wilson? if he trains for this he'll be dangerous but if he doesn't i see Haumono destroying him,or Wilson's experience might bring him victory & motivation to be the 1st to beat Haumono especilly when it's PPV.

if Wilson loses i see retirement for him, you never know :TU:
