Seemed a very strong and dangerous fighter did Davies.
Don't know if he's clever enough to get the top side of Jason though, having said that of course J isn't the same force he once was, doesn't seem to punch hard enough for top level. But not convinced that Davies is top level yet.
Good fight tho, as its the young gun against a wise old head.

Mark, i agree with what u pointed out about him ranting and raving when Power was being seen to. Thought that was a lack of class.
But you can put that down to excitement at having just done a great job infront of the tv cameras for the first time.. if it don't happen again.
But it doesn't help when you get fans of a boxer coming on and slagging off people who have made countless posts and contributed a lot to forums like this.. kinda puts some people off the boxer in question.

Like Jonp states, you don't have to come on slagging people off when they dont agree with your opinion on ya mates abilities. This is a forum so there are always clashes of opinions and banter.

well i was ringside and watched it on sky and didnt hear that, he said whos the stepping stone and its my time!!

It was clear as day, mate, and even some other lads alluded to what Davies said too.

Think Davis is to Big to make Bantam Confortable, i think he'd kill him self by making the weight and lose his Power by doing this, he has never done more then a 6 rounder, do you have to do an 8 or 10 before you can fight for the Title? i aint to sure about the Commonwealth..
Would pick Booth on this one got to much experience over the longer rounds....

thanks for getting back on topic martin, but you know im gonna disagree with you lol from what ive seen of booth recently he wont last very long with gary, hes not as slippery as he once was, gary can make bantam but dnt know if the same power is there

He weighed inn 8-12 against me and there was'nt much more on him to come off..
I had the same type of fight against Issac Ward, he was a Super Bantam came down to bantam, i stopped him i 8rounds then he went back up S-Bantam and the Commonwealth Title..
Just think it will zap alot out of him making the weight..
