..harold johnson could punch harder than his record shows. harold had an okay chin, but no more than that, so he had to be cautious sometimes. he himself said that the sportswriters got on him because he often was too conservative..but "then when i go all out and make it a slugfest i get into trouble and sometimes get knocked out.
if he had had a chin like joey maxim, to mention one of the best in light heavy and heavy there's no telling how much higher this all-time great but underrated boxer would be and how much better he would be remembered.
