Couldn't agree more, emma.
Must confess I had not heard it before and that's why I came on to clarify. The source was a local newspaper boxing column.twenty six wrote:Absolutely none, Steve.
I noticed that too, but I'd suspect that it is a printers error or similar- IE both fighters are ON the bill, but not against each other, not least because one is down as a light heavy, the other as a light welter.salvador wrote:Notice Denton Vassell v Eddie Corcoran has been added to the bill, nice and unusual clash of two young unbeaten fighters on the undercard. I fancy Vassell will be a bit too strong.
Dont know about that weight disparity Whicker - Eddie is the brother of Billy Corcoran and is a career light welter/welter (although his last fight he weighed in at 154):whicker wrote:I noticed that too, but I'd suspect that it is a printers error or similar- IE both fighters are ON the bill, but not against each other, not least because one is down as a light heavy, the other as a light welter.salvador wrote:Notice Denton Vassell v Eddie Corcoran has been added to the bill, nice and unusual clash of two young unbeaten fighters on the undercard. Banjo I would say theres more chance of hell freezing over then doherty fighting kell. Anyway doherty has gone down to light welter.banjo wrote:Brooks well better than this
should be putting him in with some of these in his next few fights
Craig Watson
Matthew Hatton
Michael Jennings
Michael Lomax
Kevin Anderson
Tony Doherty
Adnan Amar
Young Mutley
I thought Doherty was calling him out after he beat Jones?emma wrote:Banjo I would say theres more chance of hell freezing over then doherty fighting kell. Anyway doherty has gone down to light welter.banjo wrote:Brooks well better than this

I would hope so too- however, in all honesty I can't see it being anything other than an error in the listing.TerribleTerry wrote:Dont know about that weight disparity Whicker - Eddie is the brother of Billy Corcoran and is a career light welter/welter (although his last fight he weighed in at 154):whicker wrote:I noticed that too, but I'd suspect that it is a printers error or similar- IE both fighters are ON the bill, but not against each other, not least because one is down as a light heavy, the other as a light welter.salvador wrote:Notice Denton Vassell v Eddie Corcoran has been added to the bill, nice and unusual clash of two young unbeaten fighters on the undercard. Denton is a bigger guy and has often boxed between welter and light middle - if Corcoran is now campaiging at welter/light middle this could be a go'er..
No I dont. How can you love someone you dont know?toppity wrote:emma loves Kell
There used to be substance to it. He just used to eat too much so would come in well over. He's in great shape now.steve689 wrote:Must confess I had not heard it before and that's why I came on to clarify. The source was a local newspaper boxing column.twenty six wrote:Absolutely none, Steve.
craig watson would be a top fight for kel he has beaten lomax an hatton an numnumbe he has proved himself at domestic level an is eageras hell to get a fight kel he deserves a shot at the british title ...banjo wrote:Brooks well better than this

Now it's Denton Vassell V Matt Scriven, rounding off a predicatable looking prospects V journeymen undercard.salvador wrote:Notice Denton Vassell v Eddie Corcoran has been added to the bill, nice and unusual clash of two young unbeaten fighters on the undercard. Sad to say, I agree entirely - Brook is capable of moving to world class within the next 12 months, whereas Elwell will never be more than an area level fighter. Its the kind of fight that has massacre written all over it. You wonder why the likes of Bami, Lomax et al were not considered!whicker wrote:But does this mean he deserves a crack at the British Title? No disrespect to Stuart Elwell, but it is getting a bit depressing that Sports Notwork are putting on main events of this quality. Compare this to eg Simpson V Truscott , which is simply... better.
You'd hope so.banjo wrote:Brooks well better than this

I dont think well see Docherty at Light weltersteve689 wrote:What's the craic with Doherty? He has a bit of talent but seems to be fighting above his weight and if you check his record it's 95% journeymen with losing slates. Finally it seems there's a bit of a grudge between him and Kell Brook, British title involved and both in the same promotional stable (so could be made easier) and Doherty moves down to light-welterweight.
I know what you mean. :( (It should be 50/1 though, right?)Dioufy wrote:I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to this tomorrow. Brook Vs 1/50

My mistake, it is Friday. For some reason I have been getting my days messed up. Eff knows why.scrap iron wrote:I thought the fight is on Friday?Dioufy wrote:I can't tell you how much I am looking forward to this tomorrow. Brook Vs 1/50
