True - Chris Leben is currently serving a 6 month ban (I think that is all he was done for) for tasting positive for steriods after the Bisping fight.
Okay thanks for the info, but there was definitely no testing at the Manchester show Cro Cop was KTFO at.

MMA wass even worse, but UFC has cleaned things up a lot as you can see when all those PRIDE fighters had to get off the gear when they entered UFC and were half the fighters they were before they were subject to testing
Agree that UFC is cleaner than Pride but it is not due to the UFC - its the US commissions which test for drugs. When UFC comes to Europe, there is no testing. Which is why I think (and this is just speculation on my part) Cro Cop fought (and lost) twice over here.
Aye i reckon you are right on that one, there was little point in him fighting twice in the UK, he's hardly the "local draw" here.

UK MMA fighter James Thompson is probably the most obvious user of the gear i've seen

I remember hearing from a journo who had privately talked to some leading MMA fighters who all said that they reckoned UFC wanted them on the gear for cosmetic reasons*, they just didnt want them to get caught....
UFC has a big, big issue with their fighters looking "fat" apparently

As for boxing, i would put my life saving on all the guys mentioned above being users of "illegal" supplements

Lennox Lewis?

20 odd pounds of lean muscle gained in 6 months?

hmmmm
When did Lewis gain 20 lbs in six months?

Lennox Lewis a steroid abuser?

Come on. He was a big bloke and it's nothing radical for a man standing 6'5 to carry the weight that he carried.

Because Lennox wasn't with Warren, ppl do love to snipe at him.

On the other hand Evan Field...

I worked with Lennox for over 12 years and in all that time i would put my reputation on the fact that he never touched any form of steroids or any form of drug enhancement products. He worked his self real hard in the gyn and did a weight program and had 2 first class conditioners and eat good food when we were in training camp for up 2 8 weeks at a time.

There is no way Lennox took Joe kinnear.

His physique does not remotely look like an indivual who has taken anything illegal.

The main giveaway, a huge traps.

Holyfield has long been associated with human growth hormone and is often the subject of discussion on body building forums like getbig.com.

Look at the huge traps (upper shoulders/neck) on Broc Lesnar. Those muscles are incredibly difficult to grow naturally.

Lennox has natural sized traps :-

Good to hear Frank.

I can't imgine Lennox using myself - he certainly didn't need it to bulk up or put on size - he was naturally a huge man and 'thickened out' as he got older..

jesus that picture is scary. kerr was shown shooting up ''painkillers'' in the doc but they never went so far as to say it was steroids (although it seemed pretty obvious from his physique). coleman just looks ill now.

They were poor..I saw the documentary getting talked about..It was a very good insight into it at the begining of it all..It was called Smashing Machiene..Coleman looks Ill and was blowing after 2 mins last night..Surprised Shogun made so much hard work of it!! I think it's all caught up with Shogun Rua..He come into the sport at a young age and I think he's finished in all honesty..I think you have a shelf life of about 2 to 3 years in that sport..

Only the freaks such as Cotoure have had a wingspan that outlasts that..Beating top guys anyway..

Agree.

With the talent around as well there really is no room for them both anymore. Coleman still wanted to bang after it was stopped but it was turning into a timid wrestle.

Anyway, last time i spoke about 'the other sport' my wrists were slapped.

Watching that fight last night and the main event makes people who claim MMA is better on the eye than boxing look daft.
