Really!? Not that Kessler did much wrong for his part, but Calzaghe completely outclassed him during the second half of the bout. I don't think Kessler was poor, but he hardly impressed the hell out of me.

Are you saying Berbick deserved the nod against Holmes ? Sure you could make a case for Witherspoon but Berbick was not even close.

Carl Williams laid out the truth for Mike Spinks to follow up on. Gave Holmes his worst whipping, revealing Larry as a one dimensional plodder by that point.

Ignoring all of Ali's controversies, the two fights where Ali not only stunk, but lost his cool in were the Easter bunny rabbit punch fest against Wepner who was laughing at Ali before the fight and Jimmy Young who queered any notion of late round magic by Ali.

Always thought Luis Firpo gets undersold for his magnificent slugout classic against Dempsey.

Hearns was giving Barkley a right shellacking until Iran clocked him & took him out in the 3rd.

Iran looked like he'd been through a meat grinder, whereas Loser Hearns didn't look like he'd been in a fight at all & was well on top prior to being sparked.

I can't think of a time when the loser was the more impressive performer in the fight. :)

John Tate dominated Mike Weaver for most of 13 rounds before he got clipped near the end of the 13th and it became competitive. And then of course he got stopped inside the final minute.

Just take your pick from any of the losers when Limon, Chacon and Edwards fought each other.
