Yeah, I'd say you have a point there. Also it seems that different ticket sellers have tickets for different blocks etc.

The claim of 15 000 might mean 15 000 tickets have been bought buy ticketmaster and the like?

It's how they do it.

I've scrambled to buy concert tickets on the day they were released, only to be told that all the good areas have already gone and that there are only a few crap seats available. Then low and behold the thousands of better seats will be kept back and staggered for release in the later weeks. You can often get the very best seats in the week leading up to the event, because they're simply held back.

There's no way 15,000 have gone already. There aren't even that many boxing fans in Britain nowadays, are there?

I thought he did 6000 last time there. I remember Warren slagging off Brodie attendence of about 5000 so thats not much difference to Khan!

I doubt Don King wants this fight - he's signed an aging Barrera for a long, slow cash milking ride into the sunset, with more opponents like the hopeless one he had in China.

It is exactly before I know what the Brodie crowds were like that I know what Khan got. Entire second tier was blacked out, and only half the lower tier had people in it with tons of empty seats. I remember Warren laughing at Hearn's Brodie shows too, how the mighty have fallen eh?

Barrera is clearly a draw, though, moreover this DOES sound like a good fight, with a good undercard, I think tickets sales should be decent enough.

I've been to the MEN when it has been less-than-full, for sure. Often the back rows of the flat floor simply arn't put out if they don't sell, so there is an area of empty space on the floor.

A tip for anyone getting tickets is to try all the ticket sites, they seem to different in what they have left.

So Barrera is definitely fighting on 31st Jan? And wasn't that fight for an interim world title? If so how the hell will he be fighting 6 weeks later! He must really rate Khan to give himself 6 weeks rest/preparation time!!!

It's not for any title. At least, Boxrec don't have it down as being for one. This is supposed to be a 'keep busy' fight. The opponent, John Nolasco, is a guy who's not fought a decent opponent since 2005, and only had 2 fights since then which were over a year ago.

That's a nonsense argument. An extra 11,000 -probably more - want to see Khan in an exciting match. Let's not forget he regulalry got more than 6 million viewers on TV. They had not heard of Prescott, so many did not go. It's boxing, not the Dalai Lama. However, there were many more than 3,800 in the arena.

Khan is not very likeable thats why he struggles to get big crowd at venues. The attendence for Limond fight at 02 was 8,000 or so. Is this on box office again?

Khan could have been a popular boxer, he does not come accross well too cocky at times. Its very interesting if it will box office as ITV 4 have Thaxton and Setanta are showing boxing throught there agreement with Saureland events.

I think he's a decent enough kid. The reason a lot of hardcore boxing fans wanted him to get starched was because they were/are sick of being sold shite as sandwiches. SN and TV companies talking him up - and even worse, his level of opposition up at times - is simply insulting. It might be their job to do so but that doesn't make it any more palletable.

He didn't flee the car crash, that's a total lie. He was even pictured on the front of the Manchester paper on the scene of the crash waiting for the ambulance and police.

And, of course, he appeals to casuals. Why did more than 6million watch all his fights on ITV? Why does he still get invites to Family Fortunes and Paul O'Grady.

Try putting some sense into your posts.
