Re: Pernell vs. Hamed
Whitaker all three judges score the fight 120 - 108
Re: Pernell vs. Hamed
A man who won a title at light middle against a small featherweight? Hmmm.......

I understand your comprehension is in the dumps and your bicep in need of some of Popeye's spinach to turn it right side up again. It's universally understood as Marvin Hagler noted that relying upon the long history of dubious decisions by judges was a danger to his career. He tweaks his style to take the decisions out of the judges hands after the first Antuofermo fight with only Geraldo and the clever Duran able to last the distance until Leonard.
Any fighter relying on judges and refs for justice has to be accept that he will be victimized by his fair share of disputed decisions to off set those he benefits from. Unless he has the magic career of Ali who benefits from every dispute in his career, AWFUL decisions.
Now, you're supposed to be lobbying the WBA to overturn the Fres Oquendo/Evan Field results....wait, need to check boxrec.......OH, strike that. Your supposed to be lobbying to change the ending of that exhibition where Mr. Field does his impression of "Last Tango in Zurich."
Yes, famously directed by The HOFer Don King costarring his beloved Beast of the East, now, there's your ticket!

Remind me again, PD. Was Harold Johnson a southpaw or a northpaw?
