Interview with Jamie for those wanting more, erm, Moore.
Someone, apologies for forgetting the name, made a very good point on another thread, forget which one, by saying that the Brits tend to respect guys like Woods and Moore, who are not flavour of the month type fighters, and have to plug away for their successes. Moore could have had a right moan about the EBU situation, but decided to be stoical, a rare thing in a British person.
Hopefully Moorsey can win the title, look impressive, and then move on from here.
The article itself is long, then again it is covering three years of frustration, from Moore-Macklin to the present day.
Jamie Moore, for not moaning constantly for three years, Boxrec salutes you.
\
Well said, gotta say never met Jamie, seen him box a couple of times live, and of course always watched his fights on sky but (at the risk of soudning psychphantic) strikes me a s a pro's pro, gets on with takes the hard knocks and comes out fighting and gets on with the job no moaning no bitching.
Time to get some well deserved acceptance on the world stage i certainly hope so anyway.
Ill be finding some way come hell or high thunder to watch the picc fight and will be cheering Jamie all the way from the west indies
come on my son UNLEASH HELL

The Italian seems to get lots of ttile shots, EBU, world etc etc. More based on knowing the right ppl, I would say, than merit. That said, he is tricky and a stoppage of him would look awesome. One of those systematic, Jamie Moore style beatings to head and body.
Hope Moore really breaks him down, he can throw his left hand properly, double up the shot like he used to. Because Picclo usually has some kind of good ranking, I hope this will lead to some kind of world title fight.
The best champ out there appears to be Dzinziruk. The German based southpaw is starting to build a decent body of work. Had a terrific battle with Lucas Konekny. Overcame slow start to befuddle Joel Julio. And of course that jabbing masterclass of Daniel Santos, a guy who's back in vogue.
A methodical Russian...obviously these guys have awesome class, but hate having to work at a pace...

Just wondering jamie , in that clip you were wearing one of those sweat suits to dry out. I often hear people say that it can be very draining on a fighter. Obviously it depends on the amount of weight that needs to be lost and in what time but what are the side efects? How severe can they be?

I think it might be a points win for Mooresy - 8-4 in rounds..

As long as you know what your doing and you rehydrate properly then there fine, it's only for short term weight loss. I had a check weigh in that day but i wear one quit often, mainly because they keep you warm and it's freezing in our gym!! There's a difference between drying out and sweating it out and putting it straight back in afterwards.
