joking aside, I'm totally with Mayweather on this. Why should he be obliged to give a serious answer to a pretty silly question-

"So, boxer who has retired, are you interested in coming out of retirement to rematch with a guy whom you easily outclassed last time?"

Imagine if when Joe Calzaghe retires an American TV person comes up to him and asks (three times) if he is going to rematch Jeff Lacy.

Hasn't Mayweather already said he's interested in giving Hatton a rematch? If so, it's not such a silly question.

Interviewer - "Are you coming out of retirement to fight Ricky Hatton?"

Floyd - "Yeah......... I'm good (followed by full on baubles)"

For a minute there, I thought he said yes to the initial question.

Mayweather and Pacqiaou , which I cannot spell, are the only fighters that could beat each other , IMO, and I would actually lean towards Pacman cos I thinks he's a hard b*stard and I don't think $$$$$$ would want to get involved whereas Pac on the other hand would use his mobility to make $$$$$$ stand and have a fight

The reporter had every right to ask him those questions. What else exactly should he be asking, what he's been doing with his free time, has he bought any new jewlery lately?

Mayweather on the other hand has every right not to answer, or give any kind of answer he feels like. But what he does is try to be somebody he's not and usually ends up making himself look like a prize prick.

He aint no gangster, nor is he charismatic. He aint witty nor is he funny. He should try and be himself more, thats what i reckon.

This actually made me laugh, and I'm not a Mayweather fan out of the ring. For me he lacks class and charisma, although in saying that he does tend to show a different side immediately after fights. Would be interesting to see how he would cope with a loss.

The whole 'Money Mayweather' thing is crass and gets on my t!ts. Wonder if he manages to keep his money?

In terms of this interview the interviewer should have just done one when he realised Mayweather wasn't interested.
