I really hope Dolan wins. In the past few years Norton has only lost once, and the guy he lost to could be World class. Does anyone know anything about Enad Licina? For a small Cruiserweight he has an impressive record.

Had a good bet on Dolan here. Think he is very comfortable at the weight now (was only a few pounds over all through his training) and I believe he will be too busy for Norton. Spoke to him recently and he's bang up for it. Rob is awkward but he's also 37 and ahsn't been that active. And while much has been made of the southpaw angle I don't think Norton will find it easy against Dolan, who puts his punches together well and is a classy operator.

I can see where you are coming from with Dolan based on skill/speed & array of punches but what worries me is stamina when they enter the second half of the fight, also his chin is a major concern.

I had go at Norton by ko/tko/dq at 7/2. For me its just that Dolan has so little pro experience compared to Norton.

It is a risk like given he's got been close to doing the championship distance so far. But Fannan tells me he has been taking good chunks off his times in his runs/circuits etc and all Fannan fighters are fit men. Dolan a clean liver and I don't think doing the 12 will be a problem. If he sets a hot pace though it might be for Norton, who could waste crucial energy in the early going trying for a KO. Norton can dig but the talk of him being a HUGE puncher is just that IMO.

I have only seen him once, on the Huck Vs Battelo undercard. He looked okay, although he did get put over, but he did recover quite quickly and stopped his man later in the fight with some great shots. I will keep my eye out for him in future fights.

I ain't got mine either yet but I will hazard a guess and plump for Norton on points. I just can't see the BN tipping a guy to win over 12 who hasn't boxed the distance. Plus factor in them two knockdowns...
On the other hand you could say he got up both times so that tells you somethin', he's also a good mover. I have never seen Norton so can only judge him by his record and experience. I fancy a punt but I'm having a hard time makin' my mind up on this one.

I honestly feel those knockdowns were a result of fatigue as much as anything. The Prizefighter final was/is flawed as one guy always has 30/45 mins additional rest to the other. I don't think he was particularly shaken up by either droppage. That said I watched the action in a Guinness haze on the night and was also on Dolan to win the thing so I might be chatting shit here!

Dolan for me tonight. Surprisingly easy UD. I hope so anyway. Have persuaded several shady North East 'faces' to follow me in on the 6/5.

both fighters are virtually even...Ladbrokes have Norton slight favourite but it's so close it might as well be evens on each.

They don't fancy a Dolan stoppage at all at 6-1.....that looks big to me for an England amateur with years' on his side.

Dolan 13/8 on points...........Norton 7/4 on points (or 7/2 inside).

Am I any closer to a punt??.........course not!

I hope Dolan is the goods. Recall his debut. Glen McCrory even then said he should be a cruiser. It was a verynervy debut. Seems to be more relaxed now and got his boxing together. I hope he wins, shows some skills and power as things could be livened up a bit at cruiser. He has a classy look about him but can he hold it all together?

I fancy Norton's style will cause Dolan problems. I think Norton will knock him out in the 9th.

I've just stuck £20 on Dolan (at 6/5) to add abit more interest. Come on David Dolan!!

I'd say that makes you an eminently sensible person Ian. If my dealings with cat fights and dealers are anything to go by, a glass of the rouge is the sensible option.

Nortons first round Dolans second IMO

Norton is frustrating to watch, he just seems to have more ability than he shows in the ring.

quiet 5th, Nortons got his legs back. Even(ish) round

Dolan wins the 5th on workrate, he didn't go made trying to take Norton out of it after the 4th KD's.
