Not sure I agree with the internet being some type of saviour to boxing in these unsettled times..
I think it may just go back to the old fashioned bums on seats before its ever reliant on internet streams.
Froch v Taylor is being streamed simply because no British tv station wants to pay serious money for a very non-serious time its being shown here .. I really don`t think its a knock on Froch at all, simply because its too late for the majority its being shown to.

Perform to put Matchroom Sport events live on internet
UK-based digital media rights specialist Perform has agreed a five-year deal with television sports production company Matchroom Sport to develop online sport media products out of Matchroom’s content portfolio.
Events to be shown online under the deal include Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, Premier League Snooker, World Cup of Pool, and Prizefighter and Championship boxing. The events will be available on Perform’s digital distribution platforms, including the ‘e-Player’, which shows syndicated content on a range of third party websites. Outside the UK and Ireland, Matchroom content will be streamed on Perform’s live betting service Watchandbet.tv, and on the soon-to-be-launched Omnisport.tv pay-per-view site.
Perform will also sub-license Matchroom content to online partners around the world.
The companies worked together in 2008 to stream Championship League Snooker and the Championship of Darts live on the internet.

It makes this Froch/Taylor fight and the standards and quality rather interesting now - If Hennessy and this internet channel the fight is being shown on can provide not only a good quality with regards the viewing but also the actual quallity of the presentation - then just perhaps the sponsers/advertising might have a rethink.
On the subject of advertising and sponsorship - speaking to someone the other day - they say that is one of the biggest reasons why TV is suffering so much - and thus me using a simplistic thought process - if the internet can get their quality sorted out and if thats where all the money is regarding sponsorship etc etc then surely it is going to be sooner than we think that the internet is going to move ahead of TV with regards sports coverage - especially with the minor sports and dare I say it - it seems boxing is in that category.

I recently delved into the world of PC-Tv connections and am happy with the result.
I dug out an old VGA cable and connected my laptop to the VGA connection on the back of the tv and then sent a two way jack from the audio on my tv to the audio on my pc. Apparently excessive use puts pressure on the TV tube (so my brother tells me anyway) so bewarre. But might be useful for those internet streams.
