john isn't very exciting to watch.
he's a defensive stick and mover.
good at what he does.
and marquez was robbed against him in my opinion.
real bad decision for me that one.

still you dont go unbeaten for that long without having something (sven ottke apart) so it will be good to a have a look.
Quite so, & it's a real slugger versus boxer matchup, & I love one of those.

Most that saw Marquez-John ringside and ESBers had John winning fair and square. Can't say I've had chance to see it myself

Still not on the sky planner. My advice would be to set up series link from the German show, then it should automatically record all boxing

well my first experience of recording Setanta boxing was disasterous - Marco Huck bill started 10 mins earlier and finished about 30 mins later! So I was going to manual record it.
It saying SS2 on the website listing... so I might stick to that.

........i guess the safest thing to do would be to manually record setanta 1 and 2 from 3am through til 6, provided you have plenty of disc space!

Nice work. Great fight, decent undercard. It was worth staying up for. Times aren't easy but Setanta are giving us what we are paying for. You can't get fairer than that.
Marquez - each time he fights he shows another element of why he's a great fighter. Flawless technique, great heart, cool as ice, and as he said in the advert - he didn't wait for the KO, he forced it. Thrilling fight, and Marquez showed something extra in the hometown of Diaz.
Unfortunately Chris John couldn't go the extra mile in his fight with a Texan, Rocky Juarez. John retaining his title on a draw after a bright start and a late fade. John looked tireless in he first half, but it was deceptive - he used so much energy over rds 1-6 that he was knackered down the stretch. Maybe some big name will gun for him, for an easy title and John will show what he's made of. Vazquez would be a great test.
I don't think there's any doubt that Marquez is better than John. One is great, one is good.

Good work indeed. Imagine if we'd been left with the German show
