6th, hard one to score , both boxers landed some good punches, Martinez holds the edge in power , the left hook is still getting through for him, Monroe lands from the outside, the straight left is his best.

Round drawn 10-10

Martinez takes the 6th because he connected more often and better quality. Munroe's punches are losing their dig.

Doesn't sound as one-sided as the first fight anyway.

7th, again Martinez lands the left to often, Monroe doesn't look troubled by it, but its scoring. Monroe looks to try and just outwork him against the rope, maybe he's landing slightly more, but hard for the judges.

Martinez's head is causing Munroe problems and the ref warned him again. Munroe takes the round by hard work if not great effectiveness.

This fight is about even so far, quite hard to score yet Betfair's inplay betting has Martinez nearly 4 to 1 on at the moment, might be worth a fiver.

8th, both boxers look to take a breather, niether really lands much. Martinez still looks quite fresh, his body movement coming forward is impressive. Monroe looking to get on his toes a bit and make him miss, but Martinez just lands a few more.

9th , Monroe's best round, in control , lands some sharpe combinations, Martinez for the first time looked a bit worn, lets see if Monroe can do it for the next round.

10th, Monroe has another good round, gets Martinez on his back foot where he's not effective, Monroe lands some sharpe punches on the outside, and gets to Martinez on the ropes, landing some good inside work. Martinez looks like he's biting down on the gumshield.

End of the 10th and the Darke- Watt bandwagon are gathering speed for Munroe. I think Martinez is making it very hard to easily score a round for Munroe, at least one wheel is falling off IMO.

11th to Munroe, but earlier rounds have been close. Munroe needs something decisive in the 12th.

11th, all Monroe, gets Martinez on the ropes and works him over, for a moment it looks as is Martinez will fold, but he's brave and proud , even comes back with a couple in the final 30 seconds. but Monroe in control.

12th Very decisive round for Munroe. Martinez looked exhausted.
Judges scorecards ......... what could possibly go wrong?

12th, very good round for Monroe, works Martinez over all the round, gets the Spaniard on the ropes and lands at will, martinez shows a chamions heart to get through to the final bell.

For me Monroe can hold his own in world class.
