I remember Barrera saying he had to make sure when training he didn't lose too much weight at superfeather. Definitely a very small lightweight by today's standards.

Khan looks like he's built up his legs a little.

Barrera does look solid just a little more muscled.

Anyone know if you can record onto DVD from Sky Box Office? I'm going out tomorrow night and I don't have Sky +. I have a vague memory that Sky use some kind of copy protection (Macrovision?) on their pay-per-view stuff? I really don't want to shell out 15 quid only to come home to a blank disc.

No stare down from either of them, from what i could tell neither wanted to be the first to initiate eye contact. Could be an indication of respect from both of them? However, Barrera did appear a tad uninterested with the whole event.

Barrera is looking a touch bloated and may struggle as the fight goes on. If Khan is able to up the gears during the middle rounds he could gas Barrera.

as far as i know when your watching sky box office live , you can record onto dvd. its only sometimes when you record it onto the box and watch it back later that it comes out blurry sometimes. i think there is a way around that though.

I thought you were taking the piss out of Barrera being short and fat when the two were squaring off. I didn't realize there actually is a fat bloke staring at Khans crotch when he's on the scales :o

where did this take place? Triangle? what, where is that?

Travelled to Manchester 4 hour round trip to Arndale, Exchange Court as I had been informed by Arndale, who emailed me to confirm the other week and said they would email me again if anything changed.

checked this morning, no email. New camera batteries, film, marker pen the fckin lot, solely for Barrera of course, geezer tells me at 12pm when I arrive it's been cancelled, by Amir according to him, he didn't know why but said he thought it had been switched to a hotel to be done privately. Gutted. 40 quid light and a long stand up home.

had I known I'd have gone. Lad said he thought it had been moved to a hotel. The silly bitch the other week said she would email me any changes.
I recalled seeing something earlier this week on thread but it just said Exchange Court still or Exchange square, which is where I was already headed.
Oh well now I know Manchester has not one but 2 (TWO) shopping centres at Exchange Square.

Pity cos it's a bit of a dump to look round.

What is the actual weights for the fighters, is Barrera bang on 9 stone 9? He looks in decent shape, far better than for his china exhibition. He looks similar to how he looked at 9 stone 4, what was his weight?

Thats a surprise, Barrera doesn't look as defined in the arms as he did as Super Feather, but I expected him to be around the 9 stone 6 tops.

Barrera is not in shape and he thinks hes going to embarass another Brit hype job easily, the thing is Khan's in the shape of his life fighting the biggest fight of his life and will turn the heat of his youth, speed and size up on MAB. Khan all the way, probably go the distance imo

Actually Id like the lad to do well, be good for boxing, dont understand all this negativity really.

Poor kid is only 22 and already people talking about this being nail in his career which is quite frankly ridiculous.

Yup, taking it lightly in training? No surprise, he'll be expecting to chin the upstart with little bother, no doubt. He better, or he could be in trouble.
Bet they've been careful over that eye as well, large vertical slice, right over his eye.

DVD off the boxoffice should be no problem by the way Jspain, done that loads of times and no hassles.

good work sligo :TU:

aint watched it yet like.

Sligo, are u a manchester resident?, where did you hear about the weigh in?

I decided to go as I was always curious where they held these things. I saw in some old articles about Khan weigh in at the Arndale so I contacted them on the off chance. They confirmed to me this is where it would be held.

I don't make a habit of frequenting allegedly's website.

Was it well publicised??, where did you hear about it?? as from up here in Darlington it all seems pretty clandestine to me.

How is it possible in this day and age to make a fckin 5 hour round trip just to see Barrera weigh in and end up in the fckin wrong place. I have been sick as a parrot all day.

Thanks for the pictures though to everybody who put some up :TU:
