Had to giggle when Bunce got all red in the face when Froch asked him whether he thought Calzaghe would beat him. He blatantly avoided the answer, it was obvious he thought Calzaghe would win.

Brilliant show today, the best I've seen. They have really brought it together, Bunce is brilliant and bringing enthusiasm and unpredictability to the show, while Andy seems to now know the right times to reel him in. Also Andy's knowledge of boxing has improved greatly and you can tell he's made a real effort to research the sport.

Amazing How different people have such different views of the same thing. Other forums didn't seem to enjoy todays show at all. By the way it's Andy Kerr here, AKA Buncey's sidekick! Always good to get a view of what everyone thinks. I know Buncey is brilliant for keeping everyone upto date with whats coming up, so to take a leaf out of his book, It semed a good time to make my debut post on Boxrec

Not enough questions to Carl Froch ...too much Joe Calzaghe. Ok You spoke ... we listened as we always do.
I went for a coffee with Carl after the show (herbal tea in Carl's case) and he agreed to come back on the show before flying out to his American training camp in 2 or 3 weeks.
We'll talk Taylor and the future. No more Calzaghe talk. If you want to put questions in get them into the usual address, [email protected] or text us 60300 start your message with the word views. It's always nice to throw a few of your questions and comments at fighters to mix it up.

Nice to see older fighters back on the screen, would have liked to have seen Buncey prob Billy about his career, ups and downs etc

EG is right. I could have spent 15 minutes talking to Billy just about his career - I have to think a bit more.

I'm looking at some nice names next week and a far more relaxed pace - a big post-Khan email section.

I look forward to hearing about what a scintillating performance Barerra put in, and how he is a true legend of the sport, still able to beat a much younger, faster, bigger fighter at this stage of his career D

To me, that is an entirely different show though. A sober 15-30 minute interview with a retired fighter would be good telly. If Setanta can afford the highlight clips.

i mena even buncy is routing for MAB to win this a nd predicated that he will the fight . i think so too.MAB too smart for khan also he has the boxing brain .knows it inside out. Barerra will give khan a boxing lesson like he did with Naz.

buncey , andy : ignore the criticism , im amazed ye fit everything into 45 minutes each week and ye do a great job. it might be a bit rushed sometimes but if it was a slower pace you would have others giving out , you cant win. the bunce hour is unmissable tv every week. there is always something to talk about and debate after the show.

you cant have froch on and not mention calzaghe , its just impossible , especially when there was recent talk of calzaghe fighting again. now if carl is on again in 6 months or a year and calzaghe is still being mentioned then it is old news , unless calzaghe has said something about carl in the meantime.

really in two minds about khan v barrera. have picked khan for the prediction league. if i could change it now i propably would. i just wonder if what buncey said yesterday about a cut playing a part in the fight. if barrera did cut early it would hand khan a big advantage. i hope a cut does not ruin the fight.

it is quite amazing they fit it all into 45mins and i wish they would give the show an extra 30 mins or dare i say it an hour

I thought this week was perfect to be honest. was fast yet still interesting. Alot of how good it is depends on the charisma of the guests. Froch, Billy and the fit woman boxer were really good.

Nice to see women boxing getting a plug too

Yeah I've heard that too, womens boxing just used to be a novelty sort of event but recently with amateur boxing developing young women and girls it has become a proper sport now. Good to see the guys giving it some air time yesterday.

Good show as ever. The only problem I have as others said is that it isn't long enough. The interview with Michael Sprott for example I think could have been longer.
Any news on upcoming fights on Setanta? Will you be showing most of the Liverpool bill, Mathews, McNally and Price for example and has anyone got the Klitschko fight next week?

I can't wait to see Froch smash Taylor to bits in his own backyard to send him into retirement...... then the world will be Carls oyster (Kessler, Bute, Abraham, Pavlik, Calzaghe ). His BIG punching take one to give one style is Taylor-made for the US market, they're gonna love him. It's definately gonna be a fight of the year contender, Froch is gonna take him into deep water and drowned him coming down the straight. Still 6 weeks to go My face has nearly fell off with excitement already........ anyway as I was saying I really enjoyed the show yesterday Buncey

Andy, Buncey (both legends by the way !) - Quality show, it's great that you pack so much in, if only the show was longer !!!

Such diverse range, depth, bredth of all things boxing.

I love the fact you openly talk about other broadcasters and their fights, unlike Sly Sp*rts who never mention anything not on their show. Shows the class you guys have. Keep up the quality work !

For me it was the best show yet , but agree that both Billy and Carl could have been given a bit more time talking about their careers, past and present.

Fabulous to see Billy doing so well. Only met the guy once, in New York, but he certainly left his mark and is really enjoyable company.

Froch came across well and until he hangs the gloves up and doesn't need to compete with his rivals anymore, will continue to have that "sharp edge" to his personality.

Agreed Chambers, again I'm literally counting the days to Froch's dust-up with Taylor. My wife has been trying to persuade me to go out to Conneticut to watch him.....and it's hard to turn the opportunity down. Ticket prices look very, very reasonable.
