You didnt see Amir Khan dieing to get back in there straight away with Bedis Prescott
Enzo loves to fight - he would take a Ola rematch no doubt - I still think he got the heart to fight Haye again too if he ever got the chance to do better that the first fight
I don't view Haye as some kind of up and coming
super Champ in the Heavy division. I've seen enough of him , and good as he is , I've seen flaws. Let's not kid, he's no sugar ray leonard or Ali, nowhere near.
In fact a half decent Frank Bruno would spank "the granny" out of David Haye IMO. The Granny being the new Boxrec phrase these days
But yet, I feel David Haye is a bit too big and possessing of power to be defeated by Enzo Mac (I had Enzo to cruise to victory in their fight).
As regards the comment Afolabi would only beat Enzo one in a million times. Simply not true.
I was present and Afolabi was at no point bothered by Big Mac's punches. You can't fake that level of nonchalance, the shimmying of the shoulders, he was practically interacting with sections of my part of the crowd while Enzo had him on the ropes, he was looking at us and shaking his head to the point he had us laughing.
I personally felt mind you that he was riding his luck and would surely sooner or later catch a fat right hand right on the button. Even then though you felt it would only serve as a wake up call rather than lights out. Some shots were missing him by whiskers, which isn't much , especially at cruiserweight and especially when you are leaning over the top rope and a foot outside the ring.
At a couple of points, Ola's back toward me, Enzo would fire off a volley of shots to head and body, but to little effect. As he was facing me you could see him clearly shrug almost, as if to say...what now??
So basically when you throw everything you have at a man and to no avail, whether you're winning or not, saying the other guy had a one in a million shot just doesn't sum it up. That said I was just as surprised as anyone when the end came, cos whereas Afolabi wasn't getting hurt (or at least showing that he was) at the same time, he wasn't doing ANYTHING to suggest he was trying to win the fight. I started to become disillusioned thinking what a load of crap, this guy has been brought in and he's not remotely capable of defeating the much better conditioned athlete.
Note, yes, Enzo looked fcked at the end. But he had worked. Afolabi looked fcked after 5 or 6 rounds and he was doing fck all.
Then bang. The rest's history.
Not a very good fight for the most part, but the finish was pure drama.

Ola is no superstar and Enzo most certainly has the ability to beat him in a rematch. Enzo shouldn't be branded a poor sport just because he believes he has the ability to beat someone in a rematch. He's already said Ola won on the night fair and square. It is plausible something was wrong with Enzo.
As others have said, Enzo was ahead on the cards and Ola did have a very slow/patchy workrate. Still going by Ola's record, he shouldn't have been knocking anyone out, so Enzo will always have his questionable chin. Plus I'm not convinced Enzo has the minerals to be the no.1 CW in the world - but I wish him luck in his quest to try.

Enzo is a good fighter and a top bloke. Clearly things went very wrong, against Braithwaite he banged away for 12 rounds but was out on his feet in the eighth and didn't seem to have any idea of what Afolabi's style was like.
I particularly am amazed by people who say "I wish he would just go away", constantly said about any top British fighters. Why? You don't have to watch his fights, you don't have to watch or read his interviews. But a lot of people are fans of Maccarinelli.
wahtever dude Im sick of moaning and couldda shoulda and woulda...Ive never warmed to the bloke to be honest after some of the pathetic press releases from SN about Haye which were defammatory to the point of being libellous.
In addition his constant excuses get on my tits.
Thats my opinion and if you dont like it you dont have to read it either you pompous arse.

Quality comeback J mate quality
Pompous Arse
I for one just think Enzo is not as good as he thinks he is, is well short of genuine world class and thats the bottom line.
Could he win a rematch? - Of course he could, lets not kid ourselves that Afolabi is anything else than a steady away, strong chinned solid level fighter.
No, Enzo would win a rematch but would get beat next time he fought in world class ala Banks, Adamek etc etc
No shame in that - the guy can still have a career at a lower level.
As for this stuff about him as a bloke I can just see an insecure, basically decent bloke who is unsure of himself, not the plum that people on here say he is.
J - thats my opinion, like it or lump you pompous arse lol

I'd like to see Enzo in a testing warm up fight, against say a decent British Level opponent.
Lee Swaby sparked him, because "I'd been out drinking the night before, not taken it seriously.."
Since he won the WBO title the only opponent who he has beaten who looks any cop is Wayne Braitwaite (and that was only only points.)

Yeah- indeed. Can't see it happening though, seems Enzo or the team behind hima re convinced he should be fighting at World title level, despite the fact that his last two losses were knockouts.

Also, if Afolabi is British then all of his losses have been against British opposition.
