Thanks for the kind words by the way, that pronunciation of McNally as McInally was truly inexcusable!

But Just to fill you in - and everyone else interested ... after 11 rounds of the main event, 1 judge had Dodson up 3 rounds, another by 2 and the third had it level.
So by my calculations had the ref let it go to the distance allowing for the knockdown and a 10-8 Quigley round Dodson would've been up by 1 judge, Quigley up by one and one would've been level, Hence a majority Draw. I think I was in a minority of 1 at the time who thought the ref should've given Dodson 1 more chance to see the fight out given it's importance, but I bow to the superior knowledge of Bunce and Richie that he had no choice but to stop the fight.

Germany next Saturday for Povetkin, and then the Bradley - Holt unification in Canada. Get the beers in, Another long and cracking night of boxing. See you then

Andy Kerr

Second knockdown would have made it a 10-7 round had Dodson clung on

10-6 if it was 3KDs (1kd=10-8, 2kd = 10-7, 3kd=10-6) or was there only 2 kds?? I forget and only just watched it today  He was going down again anyway. He could have got seriously hurt if the ref let it go on, I didn't think he'd get out the second

Anyway don't let the annoraks on here discourage you Andy

Quality stuff Andy, thanks for the post.

I'm not sure what the pronounciation is all about, i must have missed that but who cares, slip of the tongue on an excitable night, big deal.

As someone said before, don't let the morons discourage you, you do a great job ! I should have given you a shout in the opening post, i apologise !! :TU:

Well said. Who gives a rats arse about an extra "I" in a name?? I`m watching for the boxing, not as a critique over pronounciation.

Great show, keep up the good work Andy :TU:
