To be honest I'll always say what's on my mind and how I feel..My plan is to be the best and if it comes off then great BUT if it don't then it won't be for the want of trying..I'll be in top shape for this fight and have had some first class sparring with the likes of Luis Garcia,Nicky Gittus and a couple of other guys too so big thanks to them all to!!!

What did you make of Luis Garcia?

He's class..We'll be going at it again soon, Very strong and awkward to hit too, I see how he's been giving it out up and down the country..Not much in it to be honest an he takes a very good shot!! Best sparring I've had since getting in with the likes of Big Pricey & David Haye... I also think that if this kid is given the chance then he'll become a legit WORLD CHAMPION ..

Im also pleased from a personal point of view cos there was no quarter given nor asked and to know your more than capable at that level is rearsurring!! Sorry for the spelling.. :TU:

Thanks Tony. He has had the most praise of the 3 Cubans in Cork so it's always good to hear from someone who has sparred with him. I've seen a tiny bit of him on YouTube and he looks the part.

Is there anyone in particular you'd really like to spar? Perhaps someone like Carl Froch (who has also sparred Garcia)?

Has there ever been any talk on Danny McIntosh? I guess that's out of the question for now.

Thanks Terry pal...

Gutted mate he was a no show today... :(

Much appreciated.. :TU:

As for the question on who would I most like to spar then it's a simple answer!! Bernard Hopkins!! The man is a living legend still competing at the highest level and is a fountain of PURE knowledge!! I'd probably show him too much respect until he clocked me.. :D  :D

He must be a lot harder now than he was when he played for Liverpool.

It was good hard even spar mate..he took his and I took mine..The kid is class though and has a great chin too!!

Was supposed to go at it again on Thursday BUT McCory said he ain't been back the gym since?? Was gutted cos we both struggle for quality sparring and it would have brought us both on leaps and bounds..Hopefully we can do it again soon enough like??

To be honest just want May15th to come now!! Im already chomping at the bit!! Need a good fights jamming together as the injury set me back a little.. :( Now that it's all good though I wanna get on with things rather quickly..Onwards and upwards!! :TU:

P.s If this Garcia commits himself 100% then I definitly see him becoming a name in the sport!!

That's it, the best practise is being back in the ring so let's hope they get you in a good few fights whilst the year remains!

From a personal point of view, how would you rate your chin? You were a class above in the ABAs and also so far as pro, so you've never really been tested. Ya' think you've got the chin to go all the way (which i bloody well hope)?

I hope so mate..Im not gonna lie and say I've never been hurt boxing cos I have..I've been hit of David Haye and that bloody hurt and also off David Price and that bloody hurt too..While I was't dropped I felt like it at the time.. Big Pricey likes to say I have a chin like Eubank..

Time will tell though mate..I've taken shots off some of the best 91kg fighters in the world as an am so Im HOPING it stands strong..I've no reason not to believe it won't.. ;;-) I really believe I've got the power to hurt any light heavy so I suppose it's only fair to think have I got the chin?? Like I said mate time will tell.. :TU:

P.s in the am's mate it did get tested and severly though by Mr Sexton.. A very hard fight that was..Toe 2 Toe war!! ;;-)
