there was no robbery about that night. None at all not even a whiff imo.

Hopkins won rd 1 and 12 clearly, total domination. Rest of the fight was two tired blokes - one old, other fat - hugging each other, struggling with the pace. So I think I had Hopkins at least 2 rds up. Rest of it was unclassifiable.

In hindsight, the fight was probably a bad idea.

At 160-pounds, I think Winky would have had a good chance of winning.

Credit to Williams, he just fights whoever will fight him. He's very sloppy, I don't enjoy his fights, but he looks very difficult. Reason he takes risks is cos he has to, because he doesn't appear to have that much fan support outside of Internet forums.

1 I missed I remember the usual ESB outcry after any semi close encounter though. Anyway my point was Winky was still holding his own with Taylor and BHOPs a Welter dominating him is a huge result.

Winky was jobbed against Taylor, that was crystal clear.

I am a little bit concerned that Williams is potentially tarnsihing his legacy by all this weight moving.... love to see him stick at one devision and go for the best.

As good a fighter he is.... the 2 "elite" fighters he has faced 1) wasn't elite at the time and is now forever tarnished and the 2nd) Has won in a long time, been inactive, and fighting out of his weight devision.

If he thinks beating Verno Phillips is all he needs to clean up the Light Middles - then he'd better think again.... now I even hear he could face RJJ at Super Middle (thankfully looking less likely). I just hope he doesn't think he only needs Winky.

Its a shame cause he has the ability to be an absolute legend.

Williams just overwhelmed Winky with his output, it was an outstanding display of boxing. And fair play to Wright for sticking to the task as well, considering his long bout of inactivity.
