But what happens if big Wlad hits him with a stiff jab flush in the open 10 seconds and we all see THAT look on Haye's face.

The "oh shit" look. It doesn't knock him down, just illuminates him to the size of the challenge.

I'm trying to think of the last time it happened.

Wlad and Vitaly are both over-rated in some quarters and Haye does bring tools precious few have before him - speed, athleticism etc.

But he's never fought anyone near the dimensions or weight of punch of Wlad. Nobody.

I cannot summon up the confidence to discount the giant Ukrainian, can you?
if wladimir comes out and throws hard jabs and lands then yes i think it will have a negative effect on david haye, but then on the other hand we all know wladimir fights very cautiously, so if haye is using lateral movement and knowing the power that haye has got will wladimir dedicate fully to the jab or will he use it as a range finder? i got a feeling that the speed of haye will show very early in the fight, and to be honest i think haye has a good chance in winning this fight very early and the reason for that is because wladimir doesn't fight like a bigger man when put on pressure or caught, he's got no uppercut, so when fighters are up close to him he clinches, he panicks, he's only good at range, he can't fight that effectively on the inside, he's not like lennox lewis in that department. the reason i think haye is trying to wind up wladimir is to try and get wladimir to commit more so it gives more chance for the counter approach as wladimir leaves himself very open when he misses the right hand.
Well said,Champ!

I think Haye's going to batter him to bits to be honest. Look at the amount of smaller heavies that have taken Wlad into the second half of a fight. Haye's speed, power and movement will give Wlad fits and if Wlad's on the back foot, his power will be negated. Haye will struggle more with his older brother but I can seeing him winning that too. They're big, big men, but neither of them are Lennox Lewis's are they?

Haye by stunning KO in four rounds and the older brother in a far tougher, eight-round thriller.

It'll be like Max Baer vs Primo Carnera without the laughs:-)

Haye has to land early. If he does, he will either drop wladimir straight away or will worry him sufficiently to take control and then knock him out shortly afterwards.I have to say though that if wlad lands, and lands big, its game over. This fight will be over long before round 5, either way.Am looking forward to this fight.

There's more chance of hell freezing than Haye freezing.

It comes down to who lands the BIG shot first and I think Haye has alot of advantages in a 3 round shootout, in terms of his superior hand and foot speed. Haye's going in their with bad intentions, it'll all be over quicksmart IMO (whichever way it goes)

I'm sure Emanuelle Stewart isnt going to let his charge walk into Hayes right hand.
If Klit gets through the first few rounds its not good for Haye.
Corrie Saunders was a tough guy and could trade punches while spitting his teeth out and David cant do that his chin wont let him.
I would like Haye to win obviously but theres just a niggle about what is his plan B.

haye has 3 rounds to win this fight, and has one round to earn wlads respect and make wlad cautious (more than usual)

if wlad lands relatively cleanely 3 times then the fight is over, haye could get dropped by a jab even, i do believe haye will hit the canvas, and maybe his heart will get him up twice, but he needs to drop wlad before he gets licked himself.....

shit.....

wlad can get up aswell....... :oo

when wlad gets up he normally goes back down again not long after because he totally loses his balance, his feet get very close together when he's retreating fast and that makes him go down alot easier from any other impact from a punch.

That's what i keep coming back to when I think about it! I can see Haye flooring him but unlike knocking the likes of Enzo out I fear he'd have to repeat the trick as the first time Wlad might just get back up again!

Strangely enough, what comes to mind is when Corrie Sanders hit Wlad.

I can't see Haye freezing, we know what he is like and if he is going down, he's going down fighting. It will be a good fight while it lasts, I can see a case for both winning but i've got to lean towards Haye pulling off the shock. If Sanders and Brewster can do it, then why can't David Haye? It's not as if Wlad is the sturdiest of heavies either.

Haye has proved a man for the big occasion, he relished the big crowd, big atmosphere, big occasions. He seems to thrive on the pressure where other boxers can wilt. It won't be pressure if he loses, simply a big punch. He can do it, come on David.

I love Haye to pieces but I think he's chinny. The word "chinny" for me is euphemism for a fighter who goes down easily from one-punch shots and is visibly hurt. The Mock knock-down was the most worrying, and I have heard Adam Booth say that that KD only occurred because Haye didn't have any stimulus for the fight. He got knocked down and hurt against Mormeck, and got decked by Thompson (more to do with fatigue than anything else). He also got knocked down against Barrett but it's hard to tell if he was hurt because Barrett hit him when he was down as well. He has a massive equaliser when it comes to his speed and punching-power, something that has always caused Wlad massive problems.

You can't knock the size of his balls as well, and that's why I think he'll dominate Wlad, who is a ponce when it comes to fighting. Haye said he's never lost to an upright fighter before, pro or am, and I expect that to continue. He has the ability to land first, and he will.

Haye KO5

He couldn't even fend off Lamon Brewster who is like Frazier Lite-Lite-Lite.
Lamon Brewster is considerably bigger than Frazier though.

Frazier would have struggled to land on Wlad. The guy was just over 6 foot, and had very short arms.
size means nothing frazier bashed plenty of big guys & tough guys like chuvalo he batterd,as payne said fraziers edge had gone b y the foreman fight,& too compare any klitschko too foreman is showing up your boxing knowledge.
