he (Ogogo) wasn't jumping in against the Nigerian yesterday- very cool and collected, just taking the half-step back then snapping counter right hands over the top, mostly boxing clever off the back foot.

Not sure if they fought before, I'll ask Tommy tonight. I haven't really seen much of Johnson before these Games and I understand that Allegedly tried to get the guy to turn over before and he looks good (although I've not seen todays fights) but Tommy is young and hungry and more than held his own against Kenny Egan in the seniors final and is the type of guy that can raise his game to the level of the opposition if you know what I mean.

I just had a strong feeling that Little Red and Tommy would get into the finals and have a good shout with a gold. I didn't expect the others. Paddy Gal getting to the final is a shock as is Wardy. O'Kane is really determined and although "old" has progressed since getting on the High Performance team but seems like he would be more suited to the pros - I hope Barry McGuigan signs him up after this.

kind of think that about Tommy as well he looks as if there is more in the tank, Johnson was very impressive today but the welsh kid lost heart with the body shots that wont happen with McCarthy be interesting to know what Tommy thinks about the fight, wish him luck though, all the guys deserve it.

He was jumping in fair bit today. Maybe it was desperation because he was behind, but I wouldn't want to see him doing it against the NI lad in the final.

I think the Indians kicked up such a fuss because Vijender Singh is practically India's poster boy for boxing. I'm yet to see the fight but it was a great win for Agogo. Wasn't Vijender the no.1 ranked boxer at the weight? Great to see the British lads doing so well. Hopefully most of the squad stick around for London 2012! On a side note, it's nice to India having so many accomplished boxers too. A few years back, boxing was practically non-existent in India.

Don't fancy Ward or Gallagher in the finals to be honest - Vaillay looks like he hits too hard for my money and Smith is a bad match up style-wise.

McCarthy v Johnson could be a hell of a fight, can't call it either way in truth.

Also really looking forward to Stalker v the Scotsman (his name escapes me) at lightweight. Could be a barn burner that one..
