That was the first out of my treble bet of Enzo win, Buckland win, Cleverly win. £10 bet would have won over £80.

I've written off Enzo in the past, a few times actually, yet was still jumping round the living room when he won cos I bloody respect the guy and really wanted him to win. A few rounds into the fight I realised he could do it tonight, Lockett has done some great work with him and Enzo himself showed great guts, heart and that he can adapt a little bit as he didn't get caught half as much tonight as he usually does.

This sort of match-up is precisely why the Commonwealth title has lost so much of its former prestige. No one in his right mind can tell me that Maccarinelli and Mckenzie were the two best light heavyweights in the entire Commonwealth.

Nothing has changed in the last 60+ years. Australians, Canadians, New Zealanders, Africans, all excluded whenever Brits see a chance to elevate one of their own. :x

What was really exciting to watch was the way that Enzo came back from taking quite a kicking in the 7th and looking a good shot or two away from getting stopped to clear his head, gather himself and keep on coming forward. Great to see one of boxing's nice guys gut his way through a tough fight and refuse to wilt.

Yep he looked gassed in the 7th and I thought 'here we go again', but he found a second wind from somewhere and gritted it out.
