I am reading some daft crap on here, why would either of them be intimidated? Haye knows
that getting into a circus style slagging match will end up making him look daft - did Tony
Benn say 'never get into a fight with a chimney sweep as you'll end up as dirty as him' Haye
looked really calm and unfazed but knew that it is too early for the mind games, I am sure they
will come and it will be Fury who will lose it first.

I fancy Fury's chances in this fight - if he fights smart and fights tall and long.

If, by great talker, you mean his mouth is capable of making words quicker than his brain is capable of assembling them into something actually worth saying then yes i have to agree.

I like Tyson Fury, he's good fun, he entertains in and out of the ring, but lets be honest, the man is weapons grade stupid and he's not even had a 20 year career of being punched in the head yet.

I honestly rate him top 5, all time, p4p of stupid people in sport.

We have all met someone who you just know cannot be intimidated, and given the right circumstances would stand against a Sherman tank with a peashooter just because they refuse to back down. Usually they are 5 foot 2 inches and weigh six stones.
The problem for David Haye is the 'someone' is 6 foot 9 inches and about 18 stones. The only way Haye can win is by knocking Fury spark out -unconscious. That might happen - but I doubt it.

What made Ali the greatest sportsman ever was that he made outrageous boasts - but backed them up with results. Fury is being perfectly clear about what he is going to do to Haye. If he doesn't follow through , he's finished.
Personally I think Fury will utterly destroy Haye , and go on to beat either Klitschko. He means what he says , he doesn't have any doubts. He's the next big thing in world boxing.
'Listen'

This is a joke surely ?

I like the cut of the moderators jib who did this. Whenever a big fight result comes in there's always a pack of people making threads about subjects that are already being discussed.

Do how on earth has he got to millionaire status whilst the intelligent likes of Pricey and co are on the way to nowhere. This purse will be probably bigger than Froch got last time out. And he's 24! Wish I was as thick as him.

Thing you have to consider is Fury's post boxing 'life' I can see another pathetic Gascoigne like figure in future years. Perhaps he won't be an alcoholic but without boxing he will go of the rails one way or another and implode at some point.

I'm betting on imprisonment for assault/GBH (just like his daddy) and a worsening of his already tenuous mental health.

The man is a total gonk!!

Life would be fornicating boring if we all thought the same.

Personally I think Haye stops Fury but I can see the argument for Fury winning; and even stopping Haye.

Live and let live.

He's alright mentally. Just different, and from a totally different world. He will probably just live with Paris and have several more kids and grandkids. Why hasn't he ended up on prison or young offenders yet? He could obviously have damaged people if he wanted to. Things can happen to anyone, who would have predicted Naz in jail, Bruno sectioned and Joe and Ricky on the gear? But I think Tyson will be fine.

It really winds me up when Fury puts on his stupid American accent. He obviously has some sort of Mayweather internal monalogue running through his mind but it sounds ridiculous.

Well the idea of Pay per view is to get people buying and talking.Well thats half the job done with one episode of ringside. If hes on a percentage of sales Fury is a much cannier businessman than people are giving credit for.

Of course
I just find the suggestion that Fury will decimate and dominate the division rather outlandish.

Rolling all these Haye-Fury threads into one is a complete mess!

Why do it? It's not as if the first page is full of topical discussion!

Haye even more so for letting Fury take it to the masses.

This is a big event, no doubt, but down the line Haye vs Hughie Fury could be both a big event and a really competitive match.
Where did you find out that Hughie Fury has to hold back in sparring with Tyson Fury?

It's not business sense to think hype sells. It's common sense.

Keeping up the act and bravado is the tough part I would have thought!

Here's the tactics for Fury !!!

When the fight settles down, and you're squaring up, keep taking half a step back , encourage Haye to launch the Hayemaker, and time a perfect straight right hand -right on the button.

This fight ends quick , and the big guy , with the big heart , marches on.

Only my opinion of course ( am I entitled to one on this forum ? I only ask ,you know).

I notice that the usual swearing and admission of drug taking hasn't yey appeared on this thread unless I missed it early on, but there's time yet. By the way , I do believe in Santa -I get presents every year !!

Haye knows that he can knock Fury out however and whenever he wants. It was clear to see that Fury was not at ease with Haye at all.

Fury has a belief and he is a fighting man for sure, but this is about levels and Haye is on another altogether than Fury.

I don`t see it be a competitive fight at all. Haye will get him out of there in less than 4 rounds.

I think Haye early too. Since when did Tyson become this massive puncher? He definitely does not punch his weight and p4p looks an average puncher. Technique is awful. But, fully accept haye is no iron chin which makes it such a good match up as he could do a silly dance if fury lands a great punch flush.

Wider question. Been on here 2 years ish. Never noticed as many obvious trolls as we have now. At least one doing his best to fornicate up this thread. Any reason why? Have other forums shut?

It might not reflect actual one-punch power, but:

Haye KO% at Heavyweight: 71.43%
Fury KO% at Heavyweight: 71.43%

I'd argue that Haye has never taken out a heavyweight with a single punch, in the sense that they couldn't get up off the canvas. Instead, particularly in the cases of Barrett and Ruiz, his opponents keep getting up until the ref waves it off.

Conversely, in his last few fights, Fury ended both the Cunningham and Rogan fights with single punches, though I will concede that Cunningham was absolutely knackered at the point of the KO.
