Ya, he looked out of it to me.
When he was walking out with the security people he looked like he was on the verge of collapse.
I don't mean to be a douche, but Broner is a piece of poo of a person. So eff him.[/quote]

Na I agree but he still has family and shit aswell though mate.

im not saying that pac would win 100% but its just that broner is the closest semblance to mayweathers style and maidana has that familiar left hook, so its the closest fight simulation in case the the 2 never meet in the ring
One's a southpaw and the other an orthodox boxer.

how was Thurman once again fighting for the wba interim title when the wba
title was being contested on the same card? what does interim mean?
I used to know. I know what it says in the dictionary.

Assuming he comes back? I think so yeah, I'm not convinced he can make even 140 healthy, he's a fairly naturally thick guy.

I thought it was classless when Broner did it early on. But then I thought it "truth" when Maidana did it later. :salut:
Like the saying goes...Turnabout is fair play.

Marcos wouldn't have done it if Broner hadn't done it first. In context of why he did it it was perfectly fine.

as far as lacy goes, losing to calzaghe, rjj, and taylor doesn't prove you're overrated,
and lacy had left shoulder surgery his next fight after calzaghe. the smith loss was bad,
but he looked good 2 weeks ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3hLA--SlL0
there are a lot of good fighters at 168, maybe the best division, and lacy may still be
able to shake things up

He doesnt seem to have any power at 147.
Regardless Lefty, I'm not sure he's going to have a choice.

And I mean, looking at the alternative, even if he can make 140, I don't think it'll make that much difference on his power anyhow.

And third, I don't even see it as the problem(no pun intended) he just doesn't throw enough damn punches, and his chin didn't stand up to Madaina's shots. Doesn't auger well for him at 140 or 47 imo.

Na I agree. He did come in at 144 at the weigh in though so that makes you wonder if he could make 140.

I am overjoyed right now. Broner got his big mouth shut and Maidana, a true fighter, put on a great show. Wonderful fighter to watch. Great way to end a good year of boxing.

I gotta say though, I don`t understand how people scored it closely. I gave Broner 3 rounds. In all but what, two maybe three rounds, Broner out landed Maidana. Maidana threw many more, landed many more, and did more damage. I was utterly surprised by the commentators scorecards after 6.

I think some people got the impression that Broner was doing well in certain rounds just because Maidana looked quite tired. However, even though he looked gassed at times Maidana was still throwing and landing more, while Broner was largely just walking forward and posturing.

Me too. I thought Maidana won comfortably going away. I can't see giving Broner more than 3 rounds and with the knockdowns it's a wide UD in my eyes.

I haven't felt this good after a boxing match since 1996 when Holyfield kicked the living crap out of Tyson. I can't imagine how I'd feel seeing Mayweather get pounded. I'd likely run around in the street naked firing a rifle into the air.

Floyd for all his douchness is nowhere near as much of a pudendum as Broner is. Atleast with Floyd you can see another side of him at times and thus see he created a "heel" image. With Broner that looks like his normal persona.

Stylistically though he's like Mayorga, he's so unorthodox and awkward that he's very difficult for a traditionally schooled boxer to time. Maidana looked like he was gonna pull the Mayorga-Forrest I on Broner in the 2nd round with how bad AB was hurt.

115 -111 Maidana, giving Broner every benefit of the doubt. Marcos was magnificent tonight!

One of the official scores was 115-112...that was giving Broner an extra point from you.

But yes, definitely Maidana was the boss tonight.

A lot of people are gonna think this is a mad prediction and I know Gil wont like it lol but I think Malignaggi would beat Maidana. I just think the boxing ability and more importantly movement would cause Marcos problems.
