he was doing pretty good until the acromegaly caught up with him( he didn't even know he was afflicted with it)

At one point I thought Canalito was the real deal.

He was a real good light heavy, I believe he retired after getting knocked into a coma. Reasonable.

prior to Joe Louis Charlie Retzlaff had been trained by Jack Blackburn who thought he was pretty good.

Pat Comiskey had a similiar looking style and was a big puncher too.

I'm too lazy to find it but didn't you say you never bring your cell phone when you leave the house? Wouldn't that be when you need it most?

I'm home and I'm sure in an emergency someone will call 911 or at least film it so those that care about me know what happened. Lol, 911 works even if you cut your service.

My knee once gave out in my 30s. I've had better luck since. I know what you mean about the bulk. Two items, for me, added in the last decade or so, cell phone and reading glasses.

I think this tournament would be more interesting if one was to exclude any of those that may already bee in The Boxing Hall of Fame.

say a boxer was born in 1927.
he would be fighting other fighters in that demographic between 1948-1960
any boxers within that age would face off with them.
either they had fought them actually back then or not.

C'mon, where is Oscar Bonavena ? His parents were immigrants from Italy. Just like Rocky Marciano. There are so many Italians in Argentina that according to wikipedia possibly 60% of all Argentinians might have some Italian blood.
